Rhythm shooting is the key to playing this game. That is the only way to consistently hit shots. It's over for button shooting. Outside of the shooting woes the game is decent, but the paint scoring is also OP. 2K always takes steps back when they take a few steps forward. They need people to look forward to the 'changes' in the next game.

Yah I don’t get how their idea of skill gap is making heavily contested layups that are not timed correctly but missing 3pt shots wide open. Like it’s way more skill in going 5/5 from 3 cuz you have to time it.

I never said the contest system is working properly, I never said I’m having trouble, I said I like seeing people who were shooting lights out before have trouble. They made shooting in 24 easy after everyone complained.

Mann I understand yall frustration but welcome to the club gang… I was shooting 26% all last year on 2k24 and I had an 85 3ball with 2 arm sleeves for 3pt and boost… tbf I didn’t do the 3pt zone thing every week I just wanted to hoop luckily I created a demigod and had a 96 driving dunk and 86 vert so I can get contacts almost everytime I drove!!
Just use normal risk shooting because at least you are gonna hit more shots than someone using high risk shooting. Since shooting is RNG but low risk is more op if you use it while using rhythm shooting. You hit almost every white but shooting is still a huge problem in the game.
Shooting and stealing are always issues at the beginning of the 2k cycle. Hmm… I wonder why??

I had to leave 2k alone too because I don’t have fun while I’m playing 2k this year. I have a 74w% but almost every game is a dog fight because of all the bricks I’m putting up😪

Went back to 2k24 and now I’m having a blast. I’ve met so many people who have 25 and came back to 24 just cause of how ass this game is. This game is absolutely garbage and I’m not even complaining. I was fighting hard with myself to give it a chance but it felt like I was only playing this game just because it’s the newest 2k and that’s what we’re supposed to do. Finally made the decision to pull the plug and now I’m free and at peace 😂

I’m the same I’m not having fun on the game, it’s simply just not fun and I already feel like a peni for spending money on my shooting pg build I said to myself I’m not going to give 2k more money unless they sort the game out, as a ps5 gamer I for the life don’t understand why we are capped at 60fps when we can play more intensive games at 120fps, if you’re on cross platform where everyone’s at you’re at a disadvantage straight away, then you’re playing on their shit servers, the game is a big girls ass on a hot summers day honestly

Unless you doin lay ups on zero timing , going for skill dunks is worst the shooting with square, don’t get it wrong I do find some success by it’s always a toss up, never completely confident I will get a green window on dunk meter ,

2k25 is the most over hyped Mid ass game I have ever played. The game is completely broken and unfinished and the fact that it was sold in this state instead of being a beta or demo is crazy. We shouldn't have to wait for an "update " for the game to be good day 1. But undisputed dropped so whatever. .
