Hungarian here. At 9:00 That's actually not a streetcar/Tram there. It's a short distance train called a "HÉV" (Local interest railway). They are very distinct. If you see one you are somewhere close to Budapest. They all go from Budapest to the agglomeration. usually having 1-2 stops withing Budapest. so you never find them much inside the city borders. (Except if you are in Csepel) So a main road near the city limits is a good guess.
Btw the street signs in Budapest (not in Bukarest, it is the neighbouring capital of Romania :D ) say the district (XII. kerület) and inside that even the "microregion" (idk what is it called) in that district (Aranyhegy-Ürömhegy-Péterhegy, that street runs through all 3 of these I guess), and these are very easily pinpointable on the map, so in Budapest you only need to check a corner with the two streetnames :) And thanks for featuring Hungary, nice video.
Pro tip: If you see a big white billboard with a green pin on it (they are usually in a green area) that means the EU founded a project there so you'll probably see the town's name on it. You passed one in the video at 5:23.
15:22 if you see those milestones those indicate how far you are from the capital budapest from the big null where they are starting to calculate all the milestones from
