Used to volunteer to paint these needy houses. My first ever assigned unit was filled with bed bugs. There were many nests too. Some nests are even emptied for who knows how long. Initially we were all freaked out, but after cleaning a few spots, we were no longer afraid. Yea, because we needed to paint the ceiling too, we need to clean the ceiling.. and we only had a broom as our tool to "sweep" the bed bugs away.. which you guess it - raining down on us 🥶🥶 but our determination to revamp his house was far more greater than the fear of bugs and dirt . Thank you to all volunteers 🙏
wha Mr chew was my lao shi in secondary sch!! so happy to see him here tho.. he was always so kind! Kudos to outcast and Mr Chew for this wonderful vid!!
This vid is so meaningful. There are so many of these elderly in ratio to the social workers. Thumbs up for the outcast crew shedding light on this. We always see yw siao siao and yellow yellow one.. through this vid can see the kind and caring side of him. This zj trying to lighten the mood but fail is so funny! & thank you xx for being so persistent with the uncle.. efforts paid off!

Aww truly luv this video :)) ❤️ Ive talked with a few elderly from lion Befrienders before because back then my Sec school have an annual thing where we conduct activities for them in our sch or even guide them around. It was very fun :)) ❤️🥰 Truly happy that outcasts made this video and show the way workers / volunteers would work. Can see that It is really not easy. They’re awesome! :DD

love today's episode, very meaningful. I kinda get why elderlies usually would refrain others from throwing those expired medication away, it cost money. im in my mid twenties and have been taking medication for thyroid since I was 18. every pill cost money. everytime I dropped my medicines on the floor, my mom would say that it cost money but obviously have to throw it away instead. especially one particular medicine I have, once I dropped one, Im wasting more than $10 as its not covered under subsidies as I have to get the particular medicine from a new box which have specific dosage. but nowadays doctors would give sufficient medication till the next appointment, if I had to get more from the hospital's pharmacy, it means im overdosing. and the bills for six month appointment cost a bomb. I don't have salary, and recently savings got scammed by ex secondary school classmate, I kinda get why elderlies would reacted that way when throwing away their medication when its already expired. and when all the past years bills adds up altogether, would be shocked.
