I think it's supposed to add the affect of an "audience" reacting to hear song. Like if an audience member doesn't like it they mock or say something because of the lyrics like the "blah blah blah" or "shut up" And the "kids" voices are the audience members that like or understand the music explaining why they sing along with "fire drill what would happen if a nuke just hit".
The song technically isn't new, it was in the credits of the K-12 movie and she performed it on tour, before the virus happened. But now that it's officially released we can probably expect the After School EP to follow soon-ish.
Yeah for some reason I don’t remember it from the credits I maybe didn’t watch through them ?? But love the song! Happy it’s officially released now and can’t wait for the EP!
