Will you be using this feature? What do you think of this feature and them putting the transcoding onto the streamers hardware? Update: After using it I noticed for me I cannot use any of my hotkeys when enhanced broadcasting is enabled. Anyone else have that issue? Update 2: The "fix" to the issue of not being able to use hotkeys is setting the max video tracks to auto vs giving it a definite number. will need to test that out next stream.
Its important to note that for maximum quality 6Mbps is not going to be enough as it is max allowed bitrate for everyone, but transcoding multiple resolutions will add additional smaller streams on top of it. Twitch now changed its max bitrate cap to I believe 12Mbps, selecting auto also will use up to that limit and no more. But selection it manually and specifying value below 12Mbps is still worth it should you have slow upload and need to make sure twitch will not try to use it all if you need it for other apps at the same time.
Very good point. I didn't know if twitch increased its bitrate limit. I've always known for it to be 6Mbps. Thank you for sharing all this information!
There is no talks of it going to streamlabs that I can see. So if you wanna use it, best bet is to export your scene from streamlabs, import that scene collection to obs studio and stream using obs studio. I have tutorials on how to use obs studio, but you have questions about obs studio you can reach out to me on discord, Twitter, twitch, email, or in youtube comments.

I'll be using it but my question is: can we use the 1440p or is this still not recommended yet ?
I don't think it's recommended yet, but check the faqs in the article in the video description because I think they touch on that.
select streamers in the beta can. probably not worth it until twitch adds support for av1/hevc encoding
when does this come to streamlans ?

I cant wait for 1440p streaming
Yeah 1440p is nice! RUclips transcoding has been the leg up against twitch. If we can get what RUclips has than twitch is set
@@CreoVox it will be amazing for sure
