Warning, UCCA, there's a scammer in the comments section trying to impersonate you ..
You didn’t mention DOGS! Even a little Chihuahua makes a lot of noise. Criminals don’t like barking dogs!
I had Golden Retrievers. While they would lick anyone to death they would let me know if anyone was around. They were thinking that they were about to make a new friend. But at 90 pounds it did make strangers nervous. They would always jump up and stand on the fence when someone came around. I found them some days following the kids to school.
I'm all for being proactive with home security, but sometimes the unmistakable message of "I'm armed and ready to defend my castle" is what truly sends chills down a criminal's spine. It's not just about scaring them away; it's about ensuring they think twice before even considering your home as a target. So sure, invest in those budget-friendly measures, but never underestimate the power of a responsible firearm owner protecting their domain.
Leaving the vacuum on is an insanely stupid recommendation.
Leave the vacuum on when you're not at home? Seriously? 😂
😂😂 I said the same thing. It's absolutely ridiculous.
That’s was the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard
Best way to prevent criminals from breaking in… get a dog. They hear everything and no one is going to break into a house when a chihuahua is going nuts on the other side of the door waking up the whole household.
seriously lol they can hear the frequency of people's footsteps it actually crazy what my dog can detect
We put up signs tghat say " dogs on premises". And we do have large d ogs.
I have signs that say my property is a snake venom farm. There is a box with a fake antidote at the gate too. Once you enter the property you will realize you are in a kill funnel. Then you have to ask yourself what you are doing so far from civilization and why you feel the need to try to rob or kill me and my family.
Just offer the intruders some cheeseburgers and send them on their way.
In the uk your not legally allowed to defend yourself.
This is what we need to prevent in all countries. That’s the way tyrannical governments start.
Not allowed to defend yourself? It’s the difference between being a citizen and a subject. It’s also a reason for the Revolutionary War. First thing they tried was to take all weapons away. It’s why it was listed as Americas Second Amendment. 1st was Press. 2nd was Firearms.
Same in new york
@@user-fj7vm9fz2h the UK banned guns and have no written constitution.im in the UK and the "not so Great Britain" is fuxked.
So amazing information Thank you
Thank you!
Great low-cost tips.
Seems strong doors (and door jams) are important, but potentially expensive. Even if a creep can bust through them, it probably will take a lot more effort and time. That buys you time to prepare your response.
Likewise windows. Look at yours and imagine which ones a crook would choose to try to enter through, then do things to make that more difficult.
Thank you, Officer Friendly! 👍👍👍
That's what I'm talking about!!! Protect oneself and family!!!
I really enjoy smart lighting that allows me to turn my lights on in real time with my phone wherever I am. Helps my place look lived in
rottweilers and dobermans also scare criminals away
I love Rotts too ❤ Anyone who sees that giant head does not want to get bit by it. On the other hand they are so loving to their family.
Man they all want to be big dumb lap dogs 😂
Excellent video Brother
I do appreciate these tips that provide me and other respectful well educated firearm owning citizens with useful guided educational tips and skills in case of a burglary situation. ⭐
I have a motion sensor alarm in my living room and I can set the delay to disarm in a matter of seconds if my door is ever kicked in. I bought 2 blink video cameras on Amazon. One is placed in my kitchen window and the other is placed in my living room. $10 a month online subscription. Best piece of mind I’ve ever bought.
Hooked up car alarm horns around my house with a switch😂 I found out it's really really effective deterrent did I mention loud😂
The local critters are constantly testing my motion sensor lights and driveway alarms, mostly deer but a rather obese raccoon came through the other night ! 😂. The deer also attract cougars ( the 4 legged kind 😅)so I’m always carrying.
In Illinois if you have a fake camera up and something happens to someone else by someone else on your property like front yard for example and they find out your cameras were fake you can be sued by the victim of said other person. You can also get in big trouble if your cameras see any of someone else's property.
Lately, cameras, both doorbell and security variety, and lights aren't even a deterrent. Someone posted in a community group that she woke up with kids rummaging through her kitchen. Others have posted videos of delinquents checking car doors, rear doors to a house, etc. during the afternoon and early morning hours.
They broke in, or doors were left unlocked by homeowners who thought cameras alone would do the job?
@@GryphonBrokewing Broke the lock on the sliding glass doors. Cameras didn't bother them one bit. I got a message from someone today where the security lights kick on, and dude walks up (hoodie, face mask, and gloves) to check if the truck is unlocked. Another shows vermin in an SUV stopping in front of houses while other vermin check car doors in all of the driveways. Looks like it's all high school kids, mostly guys, out at 4am and up to no good.
@@johnscott6072 Wow, that's wild. Sad to hear it's come to that point in the 'hood for you. A length of wood in the sliding door track is a good backup to the lock, though not foolproof. Hope these felons are caught.
@@GryphonBrokewing Not the hood. This is in the burbs with $500k - $700k homes. Some stupid kid is going to get tapped over a few bucks in the console of car/truck before the rest wake up.
@@johnscott6072 Neighborhood. Just shorthand, not actual "boyz in da hood".
I love your posts!
Thanks for the support, Ephods! Glad you like our videos!
Any suggestions for off grid security system ideas
Alexa app and lamps using Alexa plugs. Randomly turn lights on and off. This is an improvement over timed outlets.
Hell yeah, we are. I suggest every woman, Carry….and apply for your conceal carry license. Know how to use a gun, know how to defend yourself. We are at that point, thank you for this video.
I’ve made a deal with my neighbor. My cameras are across the street. His are on mine. I have 4 for my home and my neighbors have motion lights that at first drove me nuts. Later I used the lights to use my keys. The cameras were an afterthought. That we thought about.
You didn't mention one I always use. When going on vacation, I notify the local police, and they make daily runs up my street. Burglars will sit in their cars observing homes, and I really think they gotta get rattled when police drive by them.
Neighbor taught me this. Never knew. Pretty neat thing our boys in blue do.
Bear traps and Cages work well too but you can only have them set when your home, I used trip lines and flares before all the tech came out.
Bear traps? Cages?
Why do you have to be home?
@@skippylippy547The law says you can't have traps set to protect your home unless your home when you leave for the day or night you must unset them some states just have stupid laws you can trap your property for game and be gone just not your home. Oh yea 12 gauge land mines are cool too.

Fascinating!
My ex Son in law does security for his job. He put cameras all over the house to record every inch of my property. He monitored it from his phone and on my phone or computer. The dang deer kept setting off the motion lights tho. They came up to the house at night. Deer is my spirit animal so I respect them. At my vacation home in Florida. I had the teens in the neighborhood watch my house while I was gone. I made a deal, they protect my house and I'll reward them. When I'd get there I had 10 teenagers running up to meet me and tell on whoever was in my yard. I called them my little teenage mutant Turtles. In return, I would throw pool parties for them & their families. Not all kids are bad kids. If I move back there, I want to move back to that neighborhood.
That Last Time I Heard My Alarm Going Off I Thought Someone Was Trying To Break Into My Vehicle, But It Turned Out That I Had To Replace The Battery In My Key Fob.
So a motion-activated machine mount is probably out of the question? 😏
One major point you overlooked is firing blank rounds through fake hand guns that exactly lookalike original hand guns. These guns exactly resemble original ones.
Good way to get caught up lacking
Leave the vacuum on... thats not a good idea...
@Clickonprofile5113 nice try spammer.
My favorite part was when the editors failed to realize that he was talking about car keys panic buttons, then said “like a hall closet or your kids’ bedroom.” Absolute garbage
God is good. FJB!

I am concerned about the marauders after the shtf situation. People will be looking for a place to live and more so now that we have all these illegal aliens in our country. We aren't rich and don't have much but want to protect what we have. I have had this idea going through my head for quite some time now to put up bars on the windows to help cut down on break ins. They can have what little we have but I don't want them torturing us for their pleasure. My husband thinks it would be more likely to encourage them because they will think we have something of value. What do you think? I sure hope you will see this comment and give me some help on my idea. Thanks. Keep the videos coming.
Bars can make you feel like you are living in a prison when you look out. I suggest a Rottweiler. Get one as a puppy, spend all the time you have to, to train and socialize it. It will become your best friend and your security system.
@@hicknopunkI hadn't thought about the bars making us feel like we are in prison. I can't have a dog because of allergies so I am trying to find other things that I can do. Thanks for the suggestions.
@@icecreamladydriver1606 this gets tricky now. If your windows slide horizontally, go to home depot and cut custom length pieces of wood to prevent the window opening. Get Louisville slugger grand slam minibats. Jam a wedge under your front door each night. Consider a 9mm g3c Taurus pistol loaded, chambered, safety on.
Its horruble n my swet pitty
