Smallville is a legitimate time machine through a world of music. I've watched a lot of shows but it definitely has the best music spots of anything else from that Era or in recent times. As a show it managed to be wholesome and teach tough valuable lessons through the course of its run. It's quite remarkable actually when you consider how silly of a concept it was to begin with but the show runners and actors just fully embraced the whole dichotomy of Superman and just went for it.
Very well said. I always thought the simple lesson it illustrated was how it really matters who your parents are and how they raise you to how you turn out
I know most of us were brought here by Smallville. Clear example of using the right song for the right moment.
Smallville was amazing for that. The song choices, especially for poignant moments, was unparalleled.

Rewatching Smallville right now too, got to season six and here I am, listening to James Carrington. Smallvile is such a great show, sometimes the characters motivation and behaviour is dumb, unrealistic but the vibe of the show overall is indescribable. I was sure this song has billions views, so sad it became a niche Smallville fans song.
