I spent 10 summers there with my grandparents. Best memories of my childhood. Kamloops resort in Hope. Just bought an Rv and planning trip there. I bet a lot has changed in 45 years

I know the lake well.. I was the Bonner county marine deputy summer of 77. A few years later I bought a 26ft. retractable keel sail boat and sailed the lake for 5 years THEN sold that boat and bought a 35' blue water sail boat in San Diego and sailed to Ft Myers Florida through the Panama canal. Lived on that boat for 8 years.. OH SUBMARINES !!! I am retired U S Navy, qualified on 5 different diesel electric subs. SO been there and done that ..

It's pronounced Pond o-RAY or Ponderay :). Be sure to also visit Sandpoint. It's a really nice little town.

Lake depth is 1150' at deepest point in the southern part of the lake. With 115 miles of shoreline.

Hi! I live just south of Bayview/Sandpoint/Pend O'reille. Never been out on lake Pend O'Reille (pronounced Pon-deray).
