I have to agree, Killer and the others didn't deserve such a tragic end! They had to kill and kill, they seem happy now, but they might also be sad inside... :(
I was already hit with emotion from the start then just watching the rest drove that feeling home. This is amazing, honestly one of the best canon animatics out there.
Can i just say: I LOVE THIS ??? I also love the hesitation on when Killer was about the stab Chara- he really DID trust or cared about them in a sense, because they were the one to reach out to him first. I loved seeing the progression from his downs to his ups and healing and it’s very sweet to look at
THIS IS SO GOOD! You did an amazing job casting Killer in a sympathetic light while still not making him some innocent baby. And its been SO LONG since I’ve seen an accurate portrayal of his story! aughh this destroyed me burning hill was the song i listened to the most during one of the worst depressive periods of my life so this mde the animatic so much more impactful. this is super well drawn and well executed and i looove the fucking loving the littler things ending.

man, i just keeping coming back to this animatic. i saw it when it came out a few months back and i still think it’s one of the best animatics of killer out there. everything’s so simple but really well drawn and moving. doesn’t cover up killer’s crimes but also humanizes him. very nice ☺️

So glad you like it :D To answer your question(s), I headcanon Killer not moving or showing any kind of signs he was alive for a while after getting his soul fucked up, so Chara thought he was dead or something. They left and tried to reset to get him back, but then their reset button wasn’t working (they’re no longer the most determined, Killer is) and then Killer blasted their arm off. I know it wasn’t that easy to understand what was happening cause I didn’t know how to show it lol but Chara’s reset button wasn’t yellow and also they had a confused face after putting their hand on it. I could’ve show it better (maybe making Killer’s reset button more yellow instead of very light yellow, or making Chara’s eyebrows more visible) but oh well I was too lazy to fix it. I am blown away... The music-selection is so peaceful and melodious but the lyrics really fit Killer-sans. The art-style is unique and I love it! You may some of the drawings are bad but we see that as a straight up masterpiece! You've earned a new sub❤ Keep up the amazing work!
