Love Alex, but he needs to learn how to interview other people and not interview himself.

24:19 bitcoin being too expensive to move, leading to the idea of transferring private keys instead of transacting on chain, turns bitcoin essentially into digital Rai stones.

There is problem with that, you can spend same coins multiple times giving those keys to many people until someone moves them.

Rai stones? Haha lol, good one. No we wouldn't go that far back, but maybe for an analogy we can, where... BTC is the store of value like gold or those Rai stones were in the past...... But, To spend and avoid transaction fees or cost to physically wheelbarrow all your gold or Rai stones to the sale location lol......, we created other neutral easy to transfer Crypto like stable coins like USDT and other proof of stake affordable to send coins like Light Coin LTC (my fav for payments)... Yet, In your mindset, we dont send the whole Rai Stone to our debtors, we would send pieces or many smaller stones to make it more manageable to move/send your wealth. So, yes I suppose Rai Stones from that long ago in time are the gold or as BTC of the SOV (store of value) on the Blockchain technology of today and the pieces or small Rai stones value are simular to stable coins or cheep to send Alt coins like LTC. 😉

What a great presentaion, and i'm such a fan and supporter of both Alex and also Natalie's work! Forgive me tho, i'm a bit of a noob still but i wonder why is it BTC is the best oppoetunity for these varied use cases, instead of say something like ETH?

Provable decentralization via consensus mechanism grounded in energy (proof of work) and constant and predictable monetary policy/scarcity. Ethereum has neither. As a bonus, "immaculate conception" with creator gone for good and developer culture hard on building strong decentralized consensus vs basically whatever Vitalik says.

Eth is for Wall Street, Btc is for the people. No disrespect to Vitalik Buterin. They hijacked his wonderful work and now its distorted into a mishmash of exploitation.
