Agree with you about the white shirts (or maybe pale blue sometimes). The simplicity of the white accentuates the necktie, which is where I like to focus most of the color, and it's more versatile. I find that striped shirts can look too busy if the pattern is too bold. Classic style looks the best! That necktie looks ace by the way. Keep up the good work.

I mean, a shirt that would look good with a formal pant suit. I had to learn how to sew a dress shirt myself, and then I made a couple of them to be wearing to the office. kirby, i have a question about treating yelow pits stains on shirts. i'm a guy who seems to sweat much more than my co-workers, so i've always used anti-perspiration sticks to curb the sweating. however, this would inevitably cause yellow stains on my shirts due to the anti-perspiration stick's chemicals. what is your advice to either partially or completely remove these stains?
You don't need a dedicated stain bar to clean the shirt collar stains. Just soak the collar in water, apply some hair shampoo, preferably a white one, then brush the collar with your old toothbrush for a bit. After that, rinse the collar and just throw the shirt in the washing machine to wash normally.
My shirt home care regiment looks like this. Wet collar and pre-treat with a paste of baking soda and water. For stains, replace water with hydrogen peroxide (light colored shirts only). Wash using dress shirt cycle...yes there is one on my Miele washing machine, hang to dry until just slightly damp, then press with a LauraStar semi-professional iron. Here's a link to an example iron: www.laurastar.ch/en/ironing-systems/laurastar-s-389 Sounds like a large investment in time (and money) but with practice, shirts can be well pressed in about 3 minutes. They look great, last longer, and I know they've been done correctly. Looking forward to the upcoming video.

Shout stain remover with a brush top does wonders for pretreating collars.
