Aishah first achieved stardom in New Zealand with her band Aishah and The Fan Club, Aishah is Malaysia's first successful female singer to the international stage and has even topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the song "Don't Let Me Fall Alone" in 1990.
Janji Manismu is the hit single from Aishah debut Malay album entitled Aishah in 1990. The song won Juara Lagu 1990 and Aishah won The Best Performance category. Aishah even wrote the lyrics for the song.
