Magic Kingdom Park is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. It opened on October 1, 1971, and is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Experiences division.
Disney World is made up of many places. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom theme parks, Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon, water parks, Downtown Disney (DisneyQuest is here) and ESPN Wide World of Sports are all part of Disney World. Disney World also contains all the Disney resorts.
Is Magic Kingdom worth a full day?
There's too much in the park to easily do in a single day. It's probably more of a one-and-a-half or two-day park. That said, this is a one day itinerary post, and there are a few approaches you can take to have one very good nearly perfect day at Magic Kingdom.
