True...the TOLL GATE mafia in Chennai Airport is worst. They have been doing worse than this to ordinary passengers. Hope the Contractor(s) are brought to task....INTENTIONALLY THEY CREATE TRAFFIC CONGESTION TO ENSURE THEY COLLECT TOLL.MORE THAN 10 MINUTES.....we have faced this many times.

In 2022 at Chennai Int Airport i bought a puff for Rs.400.
I don’t get how the airport justifies selling basic food items at such crazy prices, lol. At least with a 5-star hotel, it makes sense because you're paying for some level of luxury. But what kind of luxury does an airport offer

Fastag method has to stop in Airport,In Abroad while entering the Airport they will issue the Token,after free hours we can make payment in the Parking machine or in Out Entrance one person will enter the token in his machine & get the actual payment in cash or cards,same way they have to start.
If this is happening toMP. Why not raise a privilege motion in the parliament. This is not the only airport.
State Govt can bring pre-booked pickup and drop Airport Buses within the Airport and help passengers get away from this toll gate mafia for the time being.

Same was happened in Thiruvanathapuram T1, Intensely they are making traffice by Gate Exit / checking time then Automticly car & Auto In Line queue then expiry the free time of 10moints. Then they are collect Rs.150/- .
If something is reported in Sun News, then it is probably not in favor of ruling party. In this case, DMK could not digest the fact that the toll gate contractor is not DMK. Why is this MP asking for a free pass?

Good Sudha. You have taken a very good step. Keep going. That toll gate must be removed. Selling food inside the airport is up normal. That also to be look into the matter and make them to reduce the price. When compare with outside , inside airport price is more than 5 to 6 times. Travelling people all are not Ambani and Adani. You give pressure to the aviation ministry through parliament session and do the needful for general public.
