Is it true that it initially played once a week?

It might have, because muvhango originally was a 13 part-series in 1997. Muvhango started broadcasting for 3 days a week (Mondays to wednesdays) for season 3. And in 2007 for it's 10th anniversary, they broadcasted for four days a week. And then in 2014 the soapie broadcast for 5 days a week, which also debut their current logo.
