I actually really liked your setup there, I feel like if the rolls were a bit more balanced you could have def pulled it off! Especially with zero target on your back the whole match, I feel like that is a huge advantage that not a lot of people think about
Excellent game. Only area where I think you may have had a different chance to victory is when you drew a dev and got that vp, you might have instead of drawing another pivoted to getting over to the 5,2 for a settle. Then you would have been pretty close to sneaking road actually by connecting up. I think with that mono it wouldnt have mattered, but always good to keep an eye on other victory conditions.
i was purposly racing a player with no wood and no brick once and their first dev card was a roadbuild. screwed the rest of my game ... even emotionally hahahah
I like these raw gameplays, many other Catan RUclipsrs kind of have all these crazy edits. I like how you just slow down and talk through your plan.
