Beautiful stylish table idea...exactly what I was looking for. The green, silver and white is lovely colour theme and just love the clementines adding a hit of brightness..so christmasy. Your tree is beautiful too..looks so cosy. Thanks for the ideas
Table looks amazing Luke very inspiring as I have about ten different pine trees in my garden I really have no excuse do I lol watching this has certainly given me some lovely ideas thank you x
Luke, your mum and step dad will feel very special as you celebrate Christmas at your beautiful table! Stay safe and wishing you all a very merry Christmas 🎄 Laura x
Table looks stunning. Loving all the layers and natural decor I absolutely love it. Silver tone looks so stunning. Luke what an amazing n so beautiful idea and inspiration you have given us. Thank you so much ... 🥂🍾💜💜
Beautiful table scape Luke! You can't beat a freshly laundered linen tablecloth. Real foliage - beautifully arranged is a winner too! How about tying some thyme and sage to the napkins - especially if that's what you are stuffing your turkey with? Are you having Turkey? Will you be sharing your Christmas Day menu - you and the other vloggers? I like the cutlery to be pre-arranged at each place - well polished that man! Real - lit tall candles in a holder are a must for when little 'uns aren't present. The real/faux nite-lights amongst the foliage is a lovely addition too. I love the clementines with their leaves still attached - a lovely splash of colour. Your guests could always take them home with them to have with their supper or night-cap later on. Tfs! Wishing you a very Happy and Blessed Christmas Luke, Zara and your house guests too. xOx
Ahh thank you so much Christine, that is so kind. That is such a fantastic idea. I didn't even think about using herbs. They would smell lovely. I love the pop of colour the clementines give. Such a lovely touch of Christmas. We are doing a nut roast this year, which I can't wait for. Have a wonderful Merry Christmas x
Luke, wow...nothing over the top, so stylish. The table really does look stunning, and you were so professional in the showing. You would make a fab teacher or dinner party planner. Actually you just need a weekly tv show. Sorted
Love, Love, Love your table setting, it’s so festive and love the clementines fir that pop of color. Well done Luke. You’ll have your big table some day, nothing like the intimate setting you have at your flat. 🥰🎄😘☃️🥂
you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me atm you can watch all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend these days xD
The tablescape turned out lovely Luke and I love the little touches like the small mandarins, candles, & twine around the napkins. Very cute and intimate for a small dinner party. Don't forget your Christmas crackers. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays from Fort Worth, Texas! 😊🎄🍴🍷
O Luke that looks so beautiful really warm and inviting love the napkin with the foliage that’s the sort of thing I do ... the clementines are a lovely touch never thought of that before .... stunning absolutely stunning sweetheart ❤️xxx
What a beautiful table setting very elegant and stylish ..all the natural foliage must smell so lovely ..I hope you have a lovely family Christmas 🎄 ❤ xxx
Love it! You do the most beautiful table scapes I've ever seen! I love the natural greenery and the candles and touches of orange from the Clementines. I love the smell of eucalyptus and it looks so pretty not only in you greenery but, also in those little vases you added. Your place settings using gray and white are perfect and the simplistic look of them takes nothing away from the greenery and decor running down the center of your table. You are so talented and creative. Absolutely gorgeous! Have a wonderful Christmas with your family. Holiday hugs from the southeast coast of Florida🌴😎🎄😎🌴
Buy yourself a full sheet of 1/2 or 1 inch MDF board. You could place it on top of your table to give you a larger surface. Put your tablecloth over and no one will be the wiser! It would easily slide under a bed or behind your wardrobe for storage. The table looks lovely!
Hi Luke, Thank you for a lovely Christas table setting. :) In Australia we use Christmas Bush for red tones in our centrepiece greenery. Your table looks lovely and welcoming. I hope you and Zara have a pleasant afternoon.
Table looks lovely your mum and step dad will like the effort you have gone to to make Christmas 🎄 special, don’t forget the Christmas crackers as I think you got some in one of your videos.keep safe have a special time with love ones 🥂🎄🎁😍
Love it though worried by the candles burning so close to the foliage. Stay healthy and safe and have a wonderful time with your family. Merry Christmas to Zara and you, love n hugz frae Edinburgh
Fantastic job! Initially I thought the foliage was a bit OTT on a small table but the end effect was just beautiful. Heading out later today to get some of those "Plate Chargers" they are everywhere here in Aus so I may as well get in on it too and they do help make the table look a bit more special. Plus.... If you only use a table cloth one day in 365/366 it must be Christmas day! Slight attack of envy over those Candle Sticks- some one else's loss is certainly your gain.
Beautiful! 😍 I love the tablescape, really classic and chic. I was looking for ideas for my Christmas table and I found it! Thank you for the inspiration! As always, I really enjoy watching your videos!
Amazing what you can do with a small table. Looks amazing!! Such attention to detail. You have very lucky guests!! Mine will not be so spectacular, lol. I eat my meals off a tray on my lap as I don't have a dining table in my flat yet! 😭😂❤️
Looks lovely Luke,👌.. but you are missing water glasses🥤😉 and the cutlery placing is interesting! ..I use the traditional place setting with knives on the right and forks on the left of the plates🍽️ working from starter cutlery on the outside to main course cutlery on the inside (nearest the plate).. As you can't put the desert cutlery above the place setting (due to your center piece) you could bring it in with the desert.
I had a fantastic ideas for Christmas crackers this year. I hate the ones with the plastic bits and bobs in, they just end up in landfill and I do not want to contribute to that. This year I have bought some "fill your own" crackers from Wilko (6 pack £5) Inside it comes with the Christmas crown and a classic joke. But I'm going to add a facemask, and a number. Everyone that's is attending had to bring a plainly wrapped gift (charity shop or hand made) and number them 1- (however many people you have attend) When you pull the cracker if you win the number in your cracker corresponds to the number on the gift and you receive the gift!! I'm super excited to play this and the idea of it is to do good by the environment and have a bit of fun!! And the total suprise ❤️ Absolutely love your table design, I'm going to incorporate some of your ideas to mine. Hope you and Zara have a wonderful Christmas 💚💚💚
Styling is beautifully done looks great have bought a the gold chargers to use for the first time i do have a table runner in red so will be using that no green stuff 🏃♀️😂👍🎄
Hi luke l think your table looks really beautiful. I just have one question. l would put the bigger candle of the three you got in to the centre of your beautiful laid out table
Having hosted many many parties and really complicated table settings I am impressed with your approach. The only thing I hate and it's not just you saying it. "I'm going in with" can't stand this expression. Have a lovely Christmas with your family. Just think you could be looking at houses this time next year.
I love setting my table for Christmas dinner, I have silver placemats and cutlery and crystal glasses, also a special candle that only burns on the table and has lasted for years. On our travels we have collected table cloths and I have made a few to dress the table. Our special cutlery and tableware comes out. The table is set for the 12 days of Christmas, but does change a little towards New Year. Shame about the tier 3 thing coming in for you, we have been in it for ages, is it going to affect you holiday plans?
I Luke your table looks nice I got the chargers in gold with a gold candle center peace wear I adding greenery n red berrys I never got why they called table chargers lol any one know why xxx
It looks beautiful, Luke but the candles (lower ones!) are freaking me out! I put holly around the base of candles one Christmas and left the dining room for the lounge when my then six year old son came running in saying “Mummy, Mummy, the table’s on fire!” We spent the rest of the afternoon throwing buckets of water over the whole thing (and several over me from others too!). So please be careful!
Stunnining. I don't want to sound like a cow, but those are called candle sticks; not candel abras. The candles are called tapers. Plate chargers used to be warmed in the oven and were meant to keep the plates warm if you couldn't warm the plates.
Great ideas! So bad the table was way TOO small for everything it had… and plates were almost falling over from the table and if plates had food, you would be eating the foliage…
Hi Luke, you made me laugh when you said the table cloth is like a crush linen, sorry unknown it's a generational thing, linen is always ironed so No creases in the Grandmothers day and age, and because it's a lot of work to keep it like that my generation stayed away from it and now your generation just dont iron anything if possible and love the crushed linen look. Wasnt a criticism, its just different how generation talk. 😘😃
Brilliant u could put a drinks trolley at the end for the water jug n glasses xx
That’s a fantastic idea Paula! I didn’t think of that✨🧡
You literally fill my heart with joy! Working my way from new vlogs to old, all amazing xx
Beautiful stylish table idea...exactly what I was looking for. The green, silver and white is lovely colour theme and just love the clementines adding a hit of brightness..so christmasy. Your tree is beautiful too..looks so cosy. Thanks for the ideas
