Hey David absolutely love your channel and content dude. Just curious what made you go with the 510’s over the 500’s coilovers? I’ll be dropping my s550 in a few months on FA.
If you were looking for some good footage and you want to see 100 mustangs at the same time we are renting out a air museum in my mustang club and doing a photo shoot there
Really bro. You are David "That Dude in Blue" Patterson. Sub-Zero should be blue too... there's a color called "Ice blue". Maybe that should work perfectly to keep the rep with your name 😉😁
Man you want to be careful moving to Canada. You might find a squirrelly 500hp f150 you can drive all year is just as fun or more than a mustang. And when the snow gets too deep you just drive your sled off the back and go
You think Heated Wheels are a weird feature? Try heated mirrors! Up North, they're great for defrosting our side mirrors while on the move, but whenever I told my Southerner friends about them, they keep thinking, "Why would you need your mirrors to be heated?" 9/10 they kept thinking I was referring to the interior rearview mirror 😂
Never heard anyone not know what those are and they’re not really made for ice or snow.. they’re made for keeping water off them too. Turn them on while it’s raining and you’ll know what I mean. Truckers know they’re a necessity
Just for the record, it’s not placebo. When you put it in any different driving mode. It’s going to change throttle response, how it holds RPMs and how aggressively the transmission shifts. Drag mode definitely makes a difference.
I feel like even the roughness of older cars like the mustang just make it that much better as a fun weekend car. I love the old gauges but as a daily it's not really a daily just because I enjoy it I'm happy to hop in and go anywhere

Thank you very much for all the specific information. I have a 2018 gt premium with pp1. My dog ate my stock splitter, so i need to order that MMD Chin Splitter. Thanks
I, too, have Fortune Auto coilovers. I can tell you're excited about lowering the car, and the difference in handling, and I think you're smart enough to understand that most of the improvement in handling comes from a lot of *other* things the coilovers give you. The springs with the coilovers are probably twice as stiff as stock, or more. I bet the coilovers replaced your squishy upper strut mounts with a ball-and-socket joint. Great for tactile feedback (not so much for the ride quality). And I bet they came with camber plates that allow a way better alignment than stock. If they're high-quality coilovers, the dampers have less friction than the stock. The static coefficient of friction is kindof a big deal for ride and traction, especially on a strut suspension. Compared what those things do for your handling, lowering your center of gravity is a drop in the bucket.
I’m on pilot sports, they’re a blast when it rains. When I’m turning right or something I let the clutch out a little quicker than normal and kinda slide around the corner. Traction loss is fun if you know what you’re doing, or if it’s on purpose, but if it’s not that’s what makes it fun.
I had fortunes for my 2013 and was thinking about them for my 18 but couldn’t find a lot of people talking about it. Thanks for confirming it, I assumed since they were magic on my s197 they would be good on the s550 too

@@OctaneStreet just remember, most people come on to the internet to complain about problems, not many come on to talk about how they have none. My 18 has no "piston slap", "BBQ tick", "typewriter tick" or anything else you read from the so-called "experts" on the internet concerning these cars. That's at 30k and supercharged. I have a 2019 GT/CS and I've noticed in any aggressive mode the 2-3 shift is pretty harsh. But in normal mode it's smooth. I prefer drag mode using the paddle shifters because it will shift MUCH faster at WOT. Under normal load it'll shift slower but once you put your foot down the shifts are much faster I also have only had manual Mustang GTs but when I got behind the wheel of the 10A I fell in love with it.

When using the paddles you must put it in Sport Mode BUT you need to pull back on the left paddle for a couple of seconds till the brackets come up around the gear number. Then it will upshift and downshift quickly(not like a DCT though). Also if you keep the revs up it will shift quicker. If that is not quick enough for you when you have got it set up with the stick in sport mode and pulled the left paddle back to lock it in THEN use your driving mode button and put it in sport+ or track or drag strip mode and remember to try and keep the revs up. Also it is not a placebo effect when you put it in sport mode the upshift points are higher in the revs range so it will accelerate faster if you keep your foot down.
still not sure about the 2018 mustang front end change at least on the styling improvement or digress, but at least it doesn't look like the 2019 Camaro that resembles a Silverado's severed front end
I’m so glad I watched your review on the mustang i leaned how to drive a 5 speed on my 95 mustang after my father died and and I wanted to buy the 2020 Gt convertible 6 speed cuz I know how to drive them now 25 years later from the one I have still but I see the 10 speed Auto is the way to go
I know u got other cars but I’m og I only watch the mustang videos or the random reviews. But don’t worry I don’t spread hate when it’s about something else. Love the channel to this day
Keep it white. But I’d like to see some sort of a design with vinyl wrap. Could do some black stripe work and add a little blue line off set to the black lines. Then you’d officially have blue on the car lol
I have a 2019 PP2. Only comes in standard, very happy with that and the car overall. I drive an automatic in my daily vehicle but if you have a car to use mainly on the weekends, the 6 speed is alot funner. To each his own though.
The only thing that really bugs me is the grill or lack thereof. It's like there's just nothing there. I liked the stock original grill way better than what's in it now. If you could find a way to put the chrome horse back in the middle would help so it doesn't just look like a big hole like a part is missing or something.
Never owned a white car, but it works well on your Mustang. Hearing the car's equipment. Speaking only in regards to the interior. You selected the items that helps make it a strong daily driver. Ricaros are nice looking and great for the track, but I want comfort and the nice leather heated/cooled seats with the heated steering wheel (and Nav) are at the top of interior options for daily use and comfort. I have nerve damage in my hands, so I use the heated steering wheel year round. It's also nice seeing changes that adds to the cars eye catching street look, while improving your Stang's stance and handling. I should add that personally, the automatic is the best way to go. It's strong at the strip and I see it proved each weekend at my local drag strip. If you live in a large city. It beat the hell out of a manual transmission in stop and go traffic.
Love the car the white is a great color i love the digital dash and its why i switched from wanting a 2015 to a 2018 but you can retrofit a digital dash to your 2011
You’re not wrong about the drive modes and the way the transmission feels. If I put mine in drag and hit it, the transmission hits very hard compared to normal or sport mode
I have a 18 gt too with fbo but I blacked out the lights front and rear and put drag stras black trims it looks so hard everyone compliments, smoke the lights brotha for more aggressiveness 😎
340miles to the tank? Thats pretty damn great. Thanks for that because I am saving money to buy my first ever Mustang which will be a GT. I don’t have a heavy foot and I plan on using the GT on my Fridays and weekends (have a 2012 Jeep Patriot as my daily driving vehicle). So thank you for that statement
I just got a 2020 Mustang GT base trim. When I tank it up, the range never displays 300 miles or more like my former 2017 Mustang V-6 did. The range is always under 300.
I think it's important to look at dollars per smiles. A very well equipped Mustang GT for $36k used will get you to work just as fast as a $70k used GT350. Engine and exhaust sound, loan and car insurance prices are nearly the only differences. If you've got $70-100k to burn there are tons of options and that's great, but for that kind of money some ppl would rather wait for the ZL1 V8 Corvette that's supposedly getting a twin turbo flat plane crank V8 AND electric motor powered front wheels for 900 stock HP in a AWD sort of functionality. I've ownd and love Mustangs, but don't see myself buying a $70k-100k one anytime soon because of what else is available.
I am curious as to how the 6r80 & the A10? would do in the mountains using paddle shifters. My friends and I go up to Cherahola Skyway and the Dragon quite often. It would have to be better than drive an 07 Mustang gt auto.
Love the stang bro! I remember when they first came out and I took one for a test drive I was hooked. I didn’t actually know about the heated steering wheel. Does it come in the premium 401A package? I’m actually getting a new steering wheel soon to match my carbon fiber dashboard and I always wanted the RPM Indicator lights on the steering wheel as well.
Thanks for watching the video about my mufffftang.

Looking to get one and I’m so excited
Get some light blue Brembos and work your way from there!
Niche is my favorite brand! I made a table out of one like yours but grey
Good video. I wish I could afford those coil overs !
Living in a snow state = no lowering of the car. Ground clearance and wheel clearance are your friend.... Plus, I don't mind stock ride heights.
You are one of the better youtubers so you should start doing reviews
You should do some engine reliability mods: oil pump gears, air oil separator, etc.
I have a 18 gt too with fbo but I blacked out the lights front and rear and put drag stras black trims it looks so hard everyone compliments, smoke the lights brotha for more aggressiveness 😎
CJ’s Mach is looking good. Can’t wait til he gets the new wheels.
The range is always under 300.
with all your issues, sounds like you should have went with the
GT350.. haha. great video!
Love those tail lights!
i get 12 mpg on a good day in my new edge abt 180 miles on a tank
same lol about the heated steering . i would love for you to do a review on my pp2 401A
The oem shifter is body mounted with a lot of slop. MGW (and Barton) makes a trans-braced shifter and no stiffer trans mount is needed.
Yup, I'm running a MGW. Night and day difference in the confidence and quality of the shifts. It's way more accurate.
I am curious as to how the 6r80 & the A10? would do in the mountains using paddle shifters. My friends and I go up to Cherahola Skyway and the Dragon quite often. It would have to be better than drive an 07 Mustang gt auto.
Racking up the miles!
