WE ARE THE REVOLUTION (Hungarian subtitles)

Selected for the Young Director's Contest of Mari Torocsik Toronto Hungarian Film Festival, 2024.
This short documentary is about Toronto-born Gabor Dobi and how his upbringing, love for Hungarian folk dance, and experiences in the Toronto Hungarian community influenced the creation of his November 2023 performance called “We are the Revolution”.
Ez a kis dokumentumfilm a Torontóban született Dobi Gábor magyar gyökereiről, neveltetéséről, a magyar néptánc kultúra iránti szeretetéről, és a torontói magyar közösségen belüli tapasztalatairól szól, melyeknek eredményeként született meg a nemrég bemutatott “Mi Vagyunk a Forradalom” című előadása.
