I'm so thrilled to see Suzy making a new album! My grandmother Lorena Thompson Kennedy in her late 70's & 80's from Rushville, IL went to a few of her concerts with family members and friends. Not only did she love her music but was so proud because she was related to her. I believe Suzys mom was my grandma's 1st cousin. Suzy also is from a small town that I've been to many times because many of my family were raised in Aledo, IL and still reside there. Different sides of my family have 2 separate connections to her in different ways. Actually that would make me related to her! Hopefully soon she'll be playing close around my area in Paris, IL. which would be Champaign, Terre Haute, or Indianapolis. We are very proud of you. Not just for your beautiful singing and guitar playing but most importantly the beautiful woman you are inside and out ❤ She also taught my cousin guitar lessons while living in Aledo. Nothing better than Illinois "singers and songwriters"!

Suzy went to high school @AHS with my old college roomie and long-time friend. They were both in the Aledo HS band, if I recall correctly.
