Further, he is much more sureela as compared to Kishore. His base voice is quite heavy therefore, in order to tone it down sometimes he used nasal tone. Further, every singer has unique texture like Udit Narayan has Fluey Tone. There is not problem with that. There are some of the songs of Kumar Sanu where he sounds like no one else in history of Bollywood has sounded like.

The beauty of Jatin Latin music is "Jitna purana hote jaata hai song, utna hi naya lagne lagta hai" I mean most of the other composers of 90s era have their strengths but somehow they were bound to that period. Like Nadeem Shravan music - they ruled the entire 90s and you can quickly identify that their songs belong to the 90s period. However J-L music is something different, just listen Pehla Nasha and it seems as if someone has composed that song in this decade.
