The amount of legendary talent in this band is staggering. I mean it has Steve Cropper, who was a founding member of Booker T and the MGs, co-writer of "Sittin' On the Dock of the Bay' with Otis Redding and a host of other credits; Matt "Guitar" Murphy who played with Chuck Berry, Koko Taylor, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Buddy Guy, Etta James, Otis Rush, AND Howlin' Wolf and others!; Their arranger and pianist is Paul Shaffer... (Numerous recording credits with many famous musicians for him); It's like that for most of the members in this band. BTW, If you like the Blues Brothers I suggest checking out 'Downchild Blues Band' (the brothers in the band were partially the basis for the idea of the Blues Brothers), and any other the artists the Blues Brotherss recorded a cover version of.
ELWOOD BLUES 👓 YEAH BABY !!! Love those Horns & the Harmonica What a BAD Ass band that Jake & Elwood put together RIP Joliet Jake Blues 👓 🙏
I'm not very well educated in music, but my understanding is that the BB band is kind of a "dream team" of musicians.

Killer horn section!
Duck definitely takes his bass on a walk. Spot on.
My favourite song from this album. ❤
Blues and classic rocknroll is always toppest thing in the world.
Having gone to school for music, I'm glad I can understand to some degree the amount of skill this takes 🙌
Love the blues & Love the Blues Brothers!! All the greats in the band are the best!!!🎶🔥🎶🔥
They are insanely cool
Wore this tape OUT IN HIGH CHOOL
same here.
I love elwood voice
Pretty sure it's Jake singing.
@@Lexilove2016 on most songs that's correct, but here Elwood sings a major part too and opens the song
John Belushi as Joliet Jake, lead vocals; Dan Akroyd as Elwood, harmonica, and lead vox on Rubber Biscuit (only), on the first album.
One scary soul band, as mean and righteous as a fist...
Better than the original. No offense downchild is a great band and you wrote an amazing song but look who's in this band. It just doesn't get better.
Steve Jordan, folks.
wow this is so similar to sweet home chicago the electric guitar and the bassline
it's "almost" 12-bar blues--guess that's why it's eleven and a half bars
It’s 8 1/2, 11 1/2, and 15 1/2
It addresses 8 bar, 12 bar and 16 bar blues
I think that’s Paul on the piano, the guy that used to be with David Letterman
Songs great
I need you the most
Miss Vikki loves Mark Pinkham .
