I like this vest in OD than Woodland camo but considering the cheap surplus price, I can bear with that woodland or even worse DCU or UCP camo.
I would love to get a set of these.
So is this in production yet ? What will it's price point be ? Really interested in purchasing a set.
I like it alot, I'm still using some old ALICE gear and want to upgrade. If I was to get this would it be transferred to or worn over a plate carrier?
Hello, this is based on the Fighting Load Carrier vest. The vest was made so it can be worn over the old Outer Tactical Vest that has soft armor and plates. We have not tested this yet in the field with modern plate carriers since soldiers in long deployments operating in very humid tropical jungle environment tend to wear only load bearing vests instead of plate carriers. But all the pouches are compatible with PALS or MOLLE systems.
Buy the original ones from Amazon US. US FLC combat vest. Only usd $9.9 and brand new with US army contract cert on the vest.
How do you attach your drop leg holster straps? There does not seem to be a place for it. Do you need a separate belt and suspender system under this? I'm old school and was issued the old LBE ALICE system. So After looking at my rig it seems to me you need to layer this on top of your drop leg system. No provision provided for it on this vest to attach the 2 drop leg straps.
Yes, you are correct Mr. Bond :) the vest does not include attachments for drop leg straps, but if it has a molle adapter then it can be attached to the molle system around the bottom part of the vest.
This is just a vest, whereas the ALICE/LBV system included a belt also

The OD FLC is a copy of the original US FLC, the US military never had an OD version of the FLC. This one is made in Asia using the same material and parts. Had 10 sets made for testing by Philippine Army personnel in jungle operations. We were to start full production when covid hit, production was halted.
