Add your own handwriting to Canva

Adding your signature to your Canva projects is a fun way to add that personal touch and connection with your clients and followers. I’ll show you how to do this week’s 2 minute tutorial.
I’ve also included the steps here so you can follow along. Take two minutes, learns something new, and have your signature ready to go for all of your future projects.

Step 1: Create Your Signature
Start by grabbing any piece of paper and a thin black ink pen. Write your signature on the paper and ensure it looks the way you want it to appear in your designs.
Step 2: Capture Your Signature
Use your camera to take a clear picture of your signature on the paper. Make sure the lighting is good for the best results.
Step 3: Get the Signature on Your Computer
Transfer the picture to your computer. If you have Airdrop, you can use it for a quick transfer. If not, you can find an alternative way to get the image onto your computer and save it in your downloads folder.
Step 4: Import Your Signature into Canva
Open Canva.
Click on "Create a Design."
Choose "Custom Dimensions" and enter 1080 for the width and 600 for the height, creating a nice rectangular canvas.
Drag and drop the signature image from your computer into the Canva workspace.
Step 5: Edit Your Signature
Click on the signature image.
Select "Edit Photo."
Choose "Background Remover" to remove any unwanted background.
Crop the image to your liking, making sure your signature takes up the whole space.
Step 6: Save and Organize
Give your signature a title.
Add it to a folder in Canva for easy access in the future.
Step 7: Personalize Your Designs
Now that you have your signature in Canva, you can use it to add a personal touch to your designs. For instance, if you're creating a freebie or promotional material, you can easily incorporate your signature at the end for a more personal touch.
