    Why is it showing rtx 3070 in your game settings for RDR 2 and rainbow six siege.
    Also, in cyberpunk, I see that the frame generation option is disabled for you which means you aren't using a 40 series card.
    As far as I can see, this is a false video title.
    I know the framerate counter says 4070 but that can easily be edited.

    My question is would a 4070 be too strong for the Ryzen 5 3600? Would my CPU bottleneck? Im currently running ryzen 5 3600 with 1660 super 6gb and wanna upfront but unsure if i should start with a new CPU or GPU, and have my eyes set on a 4070.

      Exactamente el mismo caso y por lo tanto, la misma duda: a 4070 be too strong for the Ryzen 5 3600?

    • @N0Motion
      @N0Motion 5 месяцев назад +1

      if you’re on 1080p it will be better than 1440p but then the 4070 is a waste cause it’s completely overkill for 1080p and you should get something like a 6700xt. If you are on 1440p resolution you can still make it work but a cpu upgrade is a must in the near future

    • @deadchamber26
      @deadchamber26 5 месяцев назад

      I'm 1440p. I primarily game on PS5 but want a PC for future COD titles and maybe battlefield too. Currently some games run at 1440p but most at 1080p. As long as I'm getting good fps on 1080p, I'm happy. But being able to handle games at high fps in 1440p is also better 😆

      @N0Motion 5 месяцев назад +6

      @@deadchamber26 then i’d get the 4070 now and upgrade to a 5800x3d later. You can run anything on 1440p with that combo

    Love your tests, but I think you should use replays in Fortnite for benchmarks, so you won't have to record the same thing twice or more :)

      @RANDOMNATION907 6 месяцев назад +1

      I like that he shows the actual gameplay. I can see how bad stutter is, if there is any. Metrics are one thing, but seeing is a better understanding, for me.

    • @hardwaretested2795
      @hardwaretested2795  6 месяцев назад +1

      What do you mean exactly? Replay is just rewatching the gameplay right?

    • @toastyvampire6741
      @toastyvampire6741 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@hardwaretested2795 Yes, BUT it still uses the CPU and GPU to run the game and the replay so (as far as I know) it will kinda work like a RDR2 benchmark.
      I was thinking you could try this:
      -Play one match with replay ON and do the same things you usually do to "stress" the PC; (run around, break objects, kill NPCs)
      -Go back to the lobby and change settings like the ones you used in this video (so first Performance mode at 1080/1440p and then Epic graphics at 1080/1440p);
      -Record your screen while watching the replay of that match.
      The replay will change the game's details and resolution based on the settings you selected before watching it, so it will work as if you were playing another match with those settings. You'd still need to record 4 replays, but you won't have to wait for matchmaking or move anything at all.
      It obviously won't be a 100% accurate benchmark because of things like in-game ping and the amount of players and builds near you, which you can't predict, but it would still be better than getting into 4 different games to test Performance/Epic graphics at 1080p/1440p.

      @@toastyvampire6741Thnx for the tip and the explanation! I will try-out it for next benchmarks. If the fps is too different in replay then the gameplay, I won't use it.

      I have this exact setup on my PC lol. I can confirm that it is really really really good still, I used to play forza horizon 4 with all ultra settings and it wouldn't go under 60 fps. In the more recent games I think it would struggle a bit with all max graphics (due to the gpu, never saw my cpu go past 40% usage lmao), but with fsr 3 it might be better

      there will be a small bottleneck, but up the resolution and it'll go away as the GPU would be the main work horse at 4k and the CPU would have little influence.
