One thing I love about this theme is how it evolved corresponding to the decade and the music trends of the times they came out. The melody was catchy and didn’t feel repetitive and the lyrics were timeless so it was easy to fit them into any time period. I like all versions of the song by my favorites have to be Shin and Flash. The two are really creative in their visual style but also their instrumentals and performance by their respective singers.
I literally love all versions of this song. It's such a legendary song; no wonder it was super relevant until Cutie Honey Universe where they changed it. Such a pity! But my favorite opening animation, though, will go to Cutey Honey Flash. It's such a well-made and aesthetic opening. It's truly a shame that even the resources for this animation are so scarce today. I feel sad that I only learned about this version until recent. I missed millions!
Flash definitely had the best "Toei" look to it, coupled with the fact that some of the staff from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon worked on it makes it even better. Although, to go off of Universe, they did fuck it up in all the wrong ways, but that OP, if you didn't know the real meaning of these Openings, it's a pretty good J-rock song.

But nevertheless I still wholeheartedly love Cutey Honey Flash. Despite it being kind of "going off" from its original adult themes and story details, I find it very well made and worth appreciating. I love Re:Cutie Honey a lot as well but I'm personally just not a big fan of that many scenes of nudity... I know it's basically the entire point of Cutie Honey and all, but still. Just my personal preference. Love CHF's shoujo style animation.

Same! I now have the AD Vision version on DVD along with the 1973 anime finally released to America in 2016, and the 2004 Live Action movie (Limited Edition that includes a lunch pail and keychain haha)

Mine would be shin cutie honey as my favorite. Only reason why they couldn't use the og song was due to licence rights toei owns the song rights
