My number 1 would've been when Frank yells at Raymond for making fun of Debra after finding out her reaction to him not waking up from the operation. "I saw your wife fall apart, and I never want to see her like that again!"

#1 absolutely heartbreaking. As a sister who lost her brother, when Robert says I'm his brother, I can wake him up. That's some powerful stuff. And that look of utter loss on Frank's face. Best actors for this show, they had a great dynamic. I'd forgotten the scene but rewatching it now, I can completely relate.

Jesus dude why does everyone bring up FRIENDS as the standard to compare sitcoms to I see this on videos like Frasier, here, Seinfeld. They couldn't be anymore different. Just enjoy this show and let others enjoy what they like. Also I might add Friends was not regarded higher it was a ratings monster but it never really always won major awards or anything. This show actually got more acclaim then friends never did. The only reason FRIENDS it was just more appealing you literally can't compare the two.

Absolutely hilarious writing, phenomenal actors who make their lines ten times funnier, relatable to everyone, some of the most memorable characters in sitcom history, etc. An occasionally the show goes a step further to remind us that they are a family, and the foundation of all the bickering and insults in arguing that make us laugh is love. Possibly the greatest sitcom of all time, imo.

I cannot believe the Christmas episode where Ray finds out that Frank's gift of a Mickey Mantle baseball when Ray was a child wasn't actually signed by Mickey Mantle, but by Frank himself. When Ray finds out he is pissed, until Frank tells him the story of how he tried, and tried to get Mantle to sign it. Then he practiced Mantle's signature for weeks. After the story, Ray is contrite and then kissed frank on the head. THAT should be Top 3.

It shows that despite in several episodes Robert saying he hates ray or being jealous and cold towards him, when the chances came up, Robert didn’t even hesitate to try save his brothers life. The scene didn’t feel part of the show because of how realistic and raw it felt. We may hate our siblings and they might hate us but we know for a certain that they love us inside and we love them and we wouldn’t hesitate to do what Robert was willing to do.

As I was watching this (#10 - #2) I was thinking that about that scene in the hospital, in the finale. Absolutely should be and is #1! Good job!! 👍❤

Somehow, in these kind of shows, it is such scenes that hit really, really hard. Becsue, they instantly show to the viewers, the real love for one another that a family has and that the fights, the arguments and all that is actually the glue that holds it together. The best performance by all the actors is not in their funny scenes; those are easy. It is here, in these scenes.
Honestly, for me, this is THE best compilation of scenes in this show. Thanks a lot, Mikey D, for this wonderful collection. Just loved it, as a reminder of what a family is all about.
    Regards and greetings from India.

speaking as a nurse, #1 should’ve never started with trying to blame the patient or any family member for neglecting anything. You approach the family, tell them exactly what happened. That’s it.

It's actually true on the other half Robert talked about. Sometimes some of us aren't meant to have love. And that's fine.

You know it’s serious when Frank stands up and calls out to you with “wait, son…”
For all they know, Robert could try to end his life being at his lowest, and even someone who is usually gung-ho and “shake it off and be a man” realizes his son is truly feeling troubled! Not only brings a tear to your eye, but shows how much this family cares about each other!!!
