Such nostalgia. This was the first basketball game that really immersed me in its Franchise mode, and the fact that you could insert legends on every team and have a fantasy draft with them kept me busy for so long. I completely skipped Live '01 and '02 because this game was so good.
This was the last best NBA live game in my opinion. You can even create players that look like the real players on here, the ones that they don't have. The dunk animations are pretty realistic and the game play is probably the most realistic ever from the Live collection. Love love, love this game. One of my favorite basketball games ever and I'm still playing it in 2015

What all do I need to emulate the n64 version like you? 🤔 I actually never played the N64 version however the Pc version is kept on deck 👌I feel like the graphics were amazing on that Pc version. Definitely much better than the PlayStation during that time period. I will have to look into that n64 emulator.

Sacramento Kings are my favorite NBA since I was a little kid I got to meet Chris Webber back in 2001 he invited us to come see him play vs Houston Rockets! it was a night to remember lol we were his special guest hahaha C-Webb in my Top 5 of All Time. #SacramentoProud

It does if you install it on a Windows XP VMWare Virtual Machine then copy it to your computer then rename the dx7z.dll file in the NBA Live 2001 demo to dx6z.dll and replace the dx6z file in the game's 3rash folder with the one you renamed and install a patch.
Love the game but I am surprised at how bad your gameplay is. No fake shots or any runs to the basket??? Passing is fine but you have to make a move at some point...

Sports games of today have control schemes which are far too complicated.
+Arthur Vandelay 2k16 is actually pretty easy to learn , hard to master tho as everything . Not many things changed control wise .
