Austin, I think you mentioned in this or another ORX video that you were hoping that XP would drop the price on the ORX. At the moment I am too with all the other new offerings from so many manufactures. Fast forward 2 years from this video, would you buy the ORX again, or go for either the Deus I -or- Deus II? Or maybe wait to see what XP may realease next (as the rumor mill has mentioned here and there)…? If not an XP then what is the detector you own now or would want to add ? PS: I was super impressed with your gold find with the Xterra Elite on it’s first time out!

I have the 540 and the Simplex and wanting to upgrade to a better iron machine. My other consideration is the Golden Mask 6. It's an analog machine. Would love to see one of you RUclips guys to buy one and review a Golden Mask
Slapping that Clad! just watching your movement with it makes me feel like its a feather lol. In regards to the outside world noise, it is what it is bud. That's part of the hobby, more people can mean more treasure.
I have the exact same setup and agree about the aluminium and foil. The HF coil is so good on gold though especially running from 31khz and higher. For hunting silver in trash and iron I prefer 14khz to 31khz range. I love the ORX in iron and is one of my main detectors now. Such a versatile and simple detector that is brilliant ergonomicly. Cool video mate.
Really good to hear you've had a good experience with it! I did notice that, I have a TINY gold chain that pretty much only this detector will hit on. Equinox doesn't even like it. That HF is killer on the tiny gold!

@@SwingThatThingMetalDetecting Yeah the 6" coil feels just a litttttlee bit too small at times, I had my eyes on a 5x10 for the nox but it's pretty expensive and I think out of stock but that would probably be killer in the parks
@@TreasureOutdoors thats the thang, love the elliptical coil for the plex. Concentric coils, don't appeal to me as much. I might just have to get better at separating with the 11" coil lol.

Looks like you took right off with the ORX. I know from watching Paystreak and others I would struggle with the Deus1 or 2 as complicated as they are. I'm a little nervous going from the Simplex to the Legend
I think Legend has the bells and whistles if you want them but it's pretty much turn on and go just like the simplex. A lot you can mess with but don't think its really needed, nice to have some options to play with!:)
I've always wondered while detecting in city parks next to roads and such, how do you know you aren't detecting buried cables like phone or electrical wires, etc...?
@@TreasureOutdoors oh and by the way...took the legend out away from the house for its first hunt in a soccer field today.....could not believe how deep it went on just 20 sensitivity....my ground balance was 7......dug a lot of square pull tabs coming in at 28....but didnt want to miss rings!...im liking it so far....i had the deus 1 used it for 2 years....but just didint like it much......different strokes for different folks!!!!
It's a great idea to wear gloves! I've got sliced once or twice with sharp aluminum can, I got a pair of gloves recently but it's hard to adjust after not wearing them for so long. 👍

That's the truth! The park has been swarming lately... it's ALMOST too light!

Hay I was wondering if you use a GoPro? And if you do what POV do you use? Ex- super view, wide, linear
Yep! I use a hero 7 black and use superview 24fps :) Sometimes wide angle but a lot of crotch shots if the camera isn't just right lol

It's like a baby Deus Plugs. It's pretty much a simplified cheaper version of the Deus 1. I like it so far!! It's like a dang FEATHER
