Thank you for the real time demonstration of sprint backlog creation, kindly offer us some more insight of real time Jira work in upcoming videos, Niladri sir. I liked the way you meticulously and patiently touched & elaborately described all the points as if you are doing on a real time basis. Thanks a lot.
Very informative video. Has anyone heard someone is snoring behind this video at 19:30, 20:27 and several other times? Hope it's not a real sprint planning. Lol
As you have mentioned in the video "UT change related user story should have a ware frame attached" - Kindly provide an insight about it, if possible with real time example.
Nisheed VP Hi t can you provide me your email id as I want to have few sessions with you on user stories, epics ,themes , features list .my cell number is 7406737366 and my email is santosh.gre@gmail.com
Hi Niladri, would you mind to clarify me something, the Scrum Guide says that "Work planned for the first days of the Sprint by the Development Team is decomposed by the end of this meeting, often to units of one day or less.", but in your example you already have 2 days of work. Should we decompose the user story to get it around 1 days of work?
I have never understood why Atlassian has never built a feature for Sprint Planning within the JIRA software. I have been working in an Agile environment with developers for over 10 years using JIRA. For all of those 10 years, we have had to do Sprint Planning in Excel/Google Sheets. I don't understand why they have ignored this element of Agile and SCRUM in their system.
very informative video.. I have seen most of your video and all are related to real life scenarios so very usefull in day to day life. One question i have is i created multiple sub task under user story and estimated in hours. Now when i go in reports section, most of reports dont count subtasks as different issues...linking with ur sprint sample, report will show me only 6 issues instead of counting subtask as issues too....and how do we see sub task hours estimated in hours in any of the report. I do'nt see any mapping for that.
Hi my name is Hugh Jarman and I am currently working for a start up but am having trouble getting our developers to use Jira would also find the excel spread sheet very helpful. :) hughjarman24@gmail.com
I think is absurd that's Jira do not calculate by itself te capacity. What a shame, Jira team should be ashamed to make the software available like that, it is minimal when planning a sprint.
+nordom AlS, Finally you noticed it. Sorry for that. Ya it's little embarrassing for me. But it has a story , the published video was my 4th attempt of recording at approx 3:30 in the morning.
man your videos help.. I have been unemployed for a bit and needed a refresher to brush up the skill this is definitely helping thanks ✌🙏

Hi, who play role as admin or assign task and update it in Jira? Is it scrum Master?
Thank you so much. But i have a question.. so does it mean in Jira we estimate in hours instead of Fibonacci series unlike Snow?
In jira you have option bor both
@@AgileDigest so capacity in manhour is more easy it seems instead of story point.
It may be easy, however consistency is better than accuracy, by using story point you will maintain that consistency

I am actually not able to understand your question. drop me a main at support@agiledigest.com
Hi , how are the story points mapped to the task hours created in the user story ...
There should not be any relation between Story Point and Task Hours.
Do you sell that excel? It would be very useful, I am interested in that, could you please send it to my email?
saralisset Hi Sara, thank you for your comment. You might have received a email reply on this regards.

what is a Ware Frame? .... I think you meant Wireframe
yes, my bad, thats a typo
It's a person who turns into a frame during a full moon.
