@@maximolacerante8808 I mean I don't live in North America and do have multiple passports 🫣 so the truth probably lies closer to his side than mine. My whole point is that it is a good idea to have multiple passports but it depends on your specific situation in life. I talk to some guys who have millions and millions of dollars and they want to get a second passport, makes sense. Why not? But if you're in a situation where money is still a bit tight, focusing on money is the answer. "Get a second home before you get a second passport" -> I think this would be my point (dont think too deeply into the meaning, very superficial)
There is another aspect to the "the world is failing" problem... EVEN IF that were true, which it definitely is not, no one can ever rationally explain how another passport or residency will provide some sort of protection. Being rich, or even just being an active expat, or being prepared to become one at a moment's notice do a lot for protection against a collapsing world. Residency and passports, do not.
No one in particular. I used to be a sumo wrestler for the United States, but I haven't competed for awhile. Covid kind of killed all of that for me. But ssireum is something I always wanted to try, and I also have knack for visiting places most people don't want to go. I was in talks to go there to do an exhibition match before, but I am not sure if it's possible anymore.@@playwithpets
I just wanted to do an exhibition match for ssireum. I used to do sumo wrestling, and it's very similar. It was on my bucket list, but probably not happening anymore@@playwithpets
The value of more than one nationality could be of some value to you individually, but could be tremendously beneficial if assumable for your descendants. Potential reasons for wanting to have multiple nationalities: religious/political prosecution, war, travel bans, economic opportunity, healthcare, and even retirement planning.
She 100% does if she wants to travel. If you guys are planning to marry, I think it's possible to Take her to Spain for 2 years and get her a Spanish passport.
In that case, it's not a "second passport" that helps, it's changing to a powerful passport. That's a little different. You can do this by having two, but if she swapped her first for the US, EU, MX or similar that would work just fine. It's not the number of passports that helps, just not being tied to her weak one.
🤐 the ones I've covered on the channel so far are Canada and Colombia. Despite being on RUclips now, I like to keep some privacy, I def don't have 7 tho 😅 just some old/forgeries that I own. I should make a video of all the fake passports I have tho
I think you and nomad capitalist have been throwing subtle jabs at each other for some time now 😂

Correct.
As an American, I only wanted a 2nd passport so I could go to North Korea to wrestle. Still working on that
Totally worth it! North Korea is super interesting
To wrestle in North Korea? With whom? Great leader Kim? :)

Probably your first challenge is getting ready for North Korean wrestling. If you are prepped to wrestle, they'll give you a visa.
i mean a second tier-1 passport for someone from a third world country is really important
Yep. Traveling on a third world country passport is very difficult.

But they often come with tax risks. As a dual citizen, it's always a consideration to give one up to lower my tax burdens.
I kinda agree with your point. But I think a 2nd passport is gonna help most people at some point. Also, my Filipino gf 100% needs another passport 🤣

@@NearShoreLiving yes, that was the plan before Brexit ruined that for me (I’m British) lol
