I'm very fond of the Yellow Spot. I really enjoy the element the Malaga wine casks bring to the table. My last Green Spot was the fine Leoville Barton which was a good one. Thanks for bringing us a review of the Red Spot. I've been waiting patiently for that one. It's a little pricey but I might give it a go. Cheers. WT
Thanks for this..would love to see these compared against Redbreast 12 (CS too),15 and the Jameson black barrel (I like the Blk barrel to a redbreast 12 " lite" but with more pecan etc)
Really enjoying your reviews! Coming from a Bourbon guy really learned a lot from you and even did my first Irish whiskey review the other day, Cheers!
@@GreatDrams gosh my exposure to scotch and whiskey only started in may even though I've spent about two to three thousand dollars buying lots of bottles...I have tried Redbreast 12,which was my first Irish whiskey and love it ...also Jameson black barrel, also love it... green spot (so so a little light) and I have just received the Red Spot 15 year old... The tyrconnell 15 and 16 year old also interest me...will probably put the Redbreast 21 for cdn$190

Ah thank you ! Really kind, appreciated !
Got a very unusual note from Green Spot. Bubble gum. Fleeting but there. Talking old-school Bazooka Joe powdery bubble gum. Very nice whiskey.
Do they use the same new make for green, yellow and red?
Wish we could get those miniatures in Canada... Sigh...
What are your three favourite Irish whiskey s?
Tough ! Midleton Very Rare 2013, Redbreast 12 Year Old CS and Method & Madness Hungarian Oak currently... but changes regularly... you?
