My parents named me "Anne" and have always called me Annie as well!!!! I've had several nicknames over the years but when a friend of mine yelled Dino, in the hallway in Junior High it stuck. Soon everyone was calling me Dino. It's also useful if someone calls me Dino & I don't recognize them I know we went to school together. I can fake it until I deduce from our conversation their name.
The Princess Diaries, Brokeback Mountain, Rio movies, Interstellar, The Devil Wears Prada, Ocean's Eight, Alice In Wonderland, The Dark Knight Rises, Dark Waters..... I'm not lying when i said i'm a huge fan of her work
Exactly why i went on here, i love Anne and thought she was going to say when she went into acting she must have thought about changing her surname because of Shakespeare's wife but no her and Jimmy seem totally oblivious about it, another person is the director Steve McQueen who has kept his surname the same which is his choice, but surely if you say who is Steve McQueen to people im sure 99% would say the great supercool actor not a director, surely the director would like to be known in his own right for his work not as a actor from years ago, the great David Bowie changed his surname from Jones because he didn't want to be confused with David Jones from The Monkees!! in Anne's case it doesn't seem to matter as it seems this part of english history wasn't taught in the US lol
