Pointing and calling is a part of danger prediction activity, in which a work object such as a signal, a sign, or an instrument is pointed with a finger for the purpose of safety confirmation, and the name and state are confirmed aloud. (I'm not good at English, so the grammar may be wrong)
The front 8 cars were in service and the rear 4 cars were empty. The rear 4 cars had been removed from service at Keikyu Kawasaki Station the last stop, but the decoupling was performed at Kanagawa Shinmachi Station this stop. The conductor just needed to board the train in service, the empty train was taken care of by the depot staff.

後ろ4両の「特急」「京急川崎」の表示は何故ですか？
@@カギ-c2q 補足すると、神奈川新町駅のホーム有効長は上り(品川方面)が12両、下り(三崎口方面)が8両になっているので、神奈川新町駅に停車する特急は上りは12両もかなり設定されてますが、下りについては基本的に8両しか設定されてません。ただ、恐らく下りも一部12両にした方が良いとの判断のもと下り12両編成の特急を設定したのでしょう。しかし、そうすると、動画のようにどうしても神奈川新町で後ろ4両がホームに収まりません。そこで、京急川崎で解結(切り離し)作業をするのが最もノーマルなやり方となります。しかし、ダイヤの関係上、後ろ4両を直ぐに神奈川新町発の普通電車として運行しなければならない場合が生じると思います。そこで、このように神奈川新町まで回送も兼ねて前8両にくっ付けて持っていくことになりましたが、神奈川新町で後ろ4両を客扱い出来ないので、京急川崎止まりとし、客を前8両に誘導した上で、神奈川新町まで持ってくるのが丁度良いということになったのでしょう。そうした結果、上の方も仰いかけてますが、このような変態ダイヤが発生しました。
