That’s what I think too definitely some odd pieces in this site I’m going back soon to see what else I can find!! Thanks for checking it out I appreciate it!!
Dang Bubba, you earned that one. Hope you're feeling better. I tried those military trench shovels years ago, hit several bullets and went back to using ol #2 shovels. Over the last decade I mostly use the smaller blade shovels. I have a Root Master that is lighter and less intimidating to the owner of a yard with potential. But dang brother your TCB with those shovels. I didn't see any rifling on the sabot, fired or dropped? Thanks for sharing 👍 What did it measure?
Holy crap Cliff, you earned those targets my friend! That ground is tough, a jack hammer might be a better tool! Amazing job recovering that shell! Insane history, Congrats!!!! Great shoutout to American Digger Magazine, they are the BEST!!!!!
@@masonmercmetaldetecting Thank you buddy and your right it’s tough digging here for sure need the rain bad, and I’m trying to help everyone I can along the way appreciate you watching buddy!! Hopefully there’s allot more to come!! 🤞
New sub Australia 🇦🇺 here. Great vid great finds. I like the relics and will go watch your other vids too. Civil War finds are interesting to me. We don’t have super old finds in OZ, my country is still young.
nice finds man that looks almost like a make shift ax head next to the horse shoe

@@jeffnelson9420 Thank you buddy it was 6 and 5/8 with a 3 inch diameter definitely a fired shell!!
Dud...fuse still intact? Cleaned up great 👍
@@jeffnelson9420 the top of the fuse broke off on impact but the neck of it is down in the shell still definitely live still!!
Thanks for all your Time & Effort in preserving History before it's gone forever!
