I’m a very VERY small editor myself and I’ve been wanting to quit like your friend and switch up content like the complete opposite of edits. I do also see underrated editors who get little views, likes, or even subscribers. Maybe they are okay with that but most of the time that’s not the case. I also see this trend in my analytics where my more lazy videos gets more likes and views than my edits I spend hours making which makes editing feel more draining.
I'm a small editor too (I edit on capcut so my edits are a bit bad) And I feel like youtube is becoming more and more unfair because every time I make edits that take less time or my sister edited half of it I end up blowing up .
I think qaluo and gen should keep making roblox editing, as i can see and that is my opinion mm2 edits are effortless, sometimes its js a footage some shakes and a ghost zoom, i dont get why theses gets sm views. How can you prefere watching an mm2 effortless edit rather than a good advanced edit with smooth 3d and cool effect. @renard3s I searched up typography for my edit THERE WAS BARELY! I remember such great typography edits last YEAR! Slowly it’s dying more and more each day, small creators are doing MM2 bc it gets them more views.. I’m still the 5% still doing the typography and TTD3 edits.. I LOVEDD seeing all the edits on my fyp.. I am trying to post lots of TTD3 edits but it’s hard bc I don’t have lots of time bc of school.. In this summer I’m trying to do as much as I can.. The yt algorithm isn’t helpful, all my friends on yt have quit, bc it’s too hard or their loosing motivation or even the hate was too much, it’s quite sad seeing one at a time my friends leaving the internet.. You may be asking why is because one of her videos about nyvalk made her problematic like she said that nyvalk supports the Ltgb community even though he said respected it, well as an teenager I already know the definition of respect and support since I took reading classes back then and their not the same, also she said that he is obsessed with ckxios even though he kinda stop talking about her ever since the drama of ckxios and nyvalk stopped she also called nyvalk editing trash witch is honestly rude to say in front others because she needs to know some of her audience might get offended easily I watched the video about her hating on nyvalk, and also saying he is bad Muslim witch is absolutely disrespectful since nyvalk did nothing wrong to her I already made an roblox commentary video on her and exposing her for lying and attacking others and using skibidi toilet for views, if you are asking how is because one of her videos she started showing of the good shows she watched back then and showed skibidi toilet at the end. I read the Description of the video but she might have changed an minute or hour later the video was uploaded, who knows she mighted be an 11 year old who doesn't know better yet untill 2 years. I personally didn't have great experience with cxkios and her server members, I've been incredibly well mentally leaving that discord server and community. I've also become a much better person, a lot of the members were against me with stuff I can't quite remember and so it gave me a lot of anxiety at that time as I was only 13. I could not focus on school n stuff but yeah I think this whole "Slender isnt always bad" "bacons cant do that or that" is stupid bs because behind each avatar is a real life person, just because they look like something you dislike doesn't mean they are rude.

I actually don’t rlly like the mm2 edits tbh only bc “roblox edits” are varied, and when it’s mm2 is kinda specific. Edits are the og and other youtubers (like me) are trying to bring back general edits of avatars and trends.

The Roblox editing community, sort of toxic and dying. I kind of quit Roblox editing. Some of my old videos are still up, but overall I’ve just gotten more distant to Roblox. When I saw qualo’s and gen’s edits, I was determined to be as good as them, but I quit, because I couldn’t do it. I’m sad the community is kind of dead, but I have many bad memories about it. Maybe it should be forgotten.
i’ve been a roblox editor since october 2021, but i’ve been in the roblox editing community since 2020. and honestly i’m sad that its most likely at its downfall. i’ve also been a fan of qaluo since around september 2021, she was at around 40k subs. i loved her edits and she really inspired me to edit, and i still watch every video she makes to this day. but.. this lowkey ruined my mental health. ever since 2022 i felt dissociated. in 2021 (apart from roblox editing n stuff this applies to mostly EVERYTHING) i felt the most happiest, and it was personally the most best year i’ve ever experienced. ever since then my mental health got worse, so worse to the point that i honestly felt like i lived in 2021 of living some sort of dream. it felt weird, and it still feels that way. no matter what i do i still feel like this. and it’s honestly weird, i have no clue what im feeling though. ive tried researching for 2 years and can’t find anything, if someone else feels like this then please tell me if you have any ideas of what it could be. maybe i’m just weird, maybe i have to move on. but i’ve tried. i’ve tried explaining it to my friends, and they can’t help. i appreciate them but they are also completely clueless like me (in this topic, i can’t blame them it’s so confusing.) sorry for maybe venting (?) im just trying to find people that also feel like me, or felt like this. thanks for reading if anyone did 🙏

This is very sad because I used to see lots and lots of edits during 2022 but I wasn't really playing Roblox at the time and all those edits were so good.I miss all the good edits..😢
This popped up on my fyp, and I decided to watch it till the end, and I'm glad I did. It's so sad that the Roblox editing community is dying... These people have inspired me to create my own edits based on popular trends. I owe it to them for the platform that I have as I'm constantly taking inspiration from these creators. I am, however, happy to see that people are moving on to something new, the MM2 editing community. I have also taken some ideas from that community and made my own edits. The editing community will always have a place in my heart, and when it does end, I'm really glad that I and many others have been a part of it. Thank you, creators, for all the wonderful memories! ❤
as a person who used to be in the community, I can confirm it has been dying for a while now (maybe even dead in general). the only reason why I left the roblox editing community is that its just not fun anymore and that its getting complicated, I use capcut to edit and it used to be so much fun editting, heck I can spend all day doing it. but now with some of the new features being added, idk where to start. I also lost the motivation AND forgot how to make edits that look good let alone blow up, my friends still do edits but as usual, theyve flopped. ive moved onto the art community but I sure will miss the editing community

Heck, I even made an edit with qaluo! It’s so sad to see everyone move on, and personally, I don’t enjoy mm2 content as much. But that’s my opinion, and everyone has their own.
i had a channel a year ago where i used to post roblox edits. i really liked doing edits, and qaluo was my main inspiration. i quit this channel because i found making only roblox edits boring, and if i posted anything other than roblox edits, my videos would either barely get any views or no comments. my old channel basically died. seeing the biggest roblox editors, who were also the reason why most people started editing. i don't see the editing community dying, though. the tiktok editors are doing just fine, and thr typography editors are also growing in popularity. it's the amount of people who quit in 2023 and this year who killed it. i don't blame them honestly, we're all getting older. they are either too busy with school or college, or they just don't like it anymore.

i really did miss the roblox ttd3 editing community. this really REALLY sucks. like, seriously bro. why did we all just move from a fun dancing game to murder mystery 2, a boring, overrated game. why can't people just go back to the original edits? 2020-2022 edits? this makes me sad. i get that, and i'm not forcing it. but the earlier years of this decade have a special place in my heart.
that actually hits very hard, seeing the editing community slowly disappear. honestly, ever since capcut templates were a thing, less trends came and so that means less view rates, less things to edit, and basically just the community dying. I was actually one of the smaller editors that quit. I think its due to the motivation and loss of trends + big editing youtubers / editing community in general that made the community slow down and soon, die.

(I don't remember) people called it the Miku scream. She promised her subscribers she wouldn't use it again and then she used it again. Roblox edits are good when they understand the meaning of the song and they keep their word when promise subscribers something

Tbh, yea I agree. Firstly when I was a new youtuber with over 26 subs that time ttd3 edits were so popular. Now seems like everyone is more interested in mm2, DTI, blade ball etc. That's so sad how many roblox editors switched into a mm2 Content Creator. Especially vani bean. i was a victim of the preppy editing community 😭 i posted 5 times a day based off of how bored i was and the channel accumulated over 100 subscribers (not a lot but i was proud and happy) i soon started to see the community die down and i was js tired of not getting many views, i tried to come back many times but it wasn’t the same and i usually ended up giving up after a few weeks or so, im grateful for it because i also learned some great editing skills like velocity colouring transition and everything
hey uh former roblox creator here(old deleted channel because i wasn’t posting and was having trouble with irl stuff) yeah it is there are still roblox editors but they just aren’t getting a surplus of attention i dont think the editing community will ever truly die as it has been around for longer than you think it only just blew up in 2020-2022 because of some viral edits the main reason its dying because 1. editing can be hard especially to make good edits a lot of people especially kids wont have the attention span or a lot of time to learn how to make edits let alone ones like how the big editors make 2. honestly even if the edits are good they can get boring by doing the same thing over and over clip-edit for many hours ranging from 3-5 if your very skilled-post- repeat it can get tiring conclusion it will never truly die but it will have a downfall and possibly will never be as popular as it was but who knows someone could revive it there are still roblox editors out there tho the usually are around the 10k like mark which is a lot for some not so much for others have a nice day😊
this brought memories from the piggy era. It was a good community, but minitoon left the game and people were slowly ignoring piggy. Kitty channel afnan was the most popular in this community, but had to stop bcz no one cared about it. Minitoon is back with piggy, i don't know if the community will come back, but i hope yes.

@renard3s I searched up typography for my edit THERE WAS BARELY! I remember such great typography edits last YEAR! Slowly it’s dying more and more each day, small creators are doing MM2 bc it gets them more views.. I’m still the 5% still doing the typography and TTD3 edits.. I LOVEDD seeing all the edits on my fyp.. I am trying to post lots of TTD3 edits but it’s hard bc I don’t have lots of time bc of school.. In this summer I’m trying to do as much as I can.. The yt algorithm isn’t helpful, all my friends on yt have quit, bc it’s too hard or their loosing motivation or even the hate was too much, it’s quite sad seeing one at a time my friends leaving the internet.. It was such a beautiful community, but all the hate again and again made ppl start loosing motivation..

as an editor that plays roblox, i am so sad to see the roblox editing community dying. editing is so time consuming and sometimes your edit will barely get anywhere, it sucks. hopefully editing doesn’t fully die.

Im a part of the roblox editing community and I love the mm2 edits, but some of these old editors have kinda switched to pure brain rot content which sucks.

You may be asking why is because one of her videos about nyvalk made her problematic like she said that nyvalk supports the Ltgb community even though he said respected it, well as an teenager I already know the definition of respect and support since I took reading classes back then and their not the same, also she said that he is obsessed with ckxios even though he kinda stop talking about her ever since the drama of ckxios and nyvalk stopped she also called nyvalk editing trash witch is honestly rude to say in front others because she needs to know some of her audience might get offended easily I watched the video about her hating on nyvalk, and also saying he is bad Muslim witch is absolutely disrespectful since nyvalk did nothing wrong to her I already made an roblox commentary video on her and exposing her for lying and attacking others and using skibidi toilet for views, if you are asking how is because one of her videos she started showing of the good shows she watched back then and showed skibidi toilet at the end. I personally didn't have great experience with cxkios and her server members, I've been incredibly well mentally leaving that discord server and community. I've also become a much better person, a lot of the members were against me with stuff I can't quite remember and so it gave me a lot of anxiety at that time as I was only 13. I could not focus on school n stuff but yeah I think this whole "Slender isnt always bad" "bacons cant do that or that" is stupid bs because behind each avatar is a real life person, just because they look like something you dislike doesn't mean they are rude.

I actually don’t rlly like the mm2 edits tbh only bc “roblox edits” are varied, and when it’s mm2 is kinda specific. Edits are the og and other youtubers (like me) are trying to bring back general edits of avatars and trends.

The Roblox editing community, sort of toxic and dying. I kind of quit Roblox editing. Some of my old videos are still up, but overall I’ve just gotten more distant to Roblox. When I saw qualo’s and gen’s edits, I was determined to be as good as them, but I quit, because I couldn’t do it. I’m sad the community is kind of dead, but I have many bad memories about it. Maybe it should be forgotten.
i’ve been a roblox editor since october 2021, but i’ve been in the roblox editing community since 2020. and honestly i’m sad that its most likely at its downfall.
i’ve also been a fan of qaluo since around september 2021, she was at around 40k subs. i loved her edits and she really inspired me to edit, and i still watch every video she makes to this day.

ever since 2022 i felt dissociated. in 2021 (apart from roblox editing n stuff this applies to mostly EVERYTHING) i felt the most happiest, and it was personally the most best year i’ve ever experienced. ever since then my mental health got worse, so worse to the point that i honestly felt like i lived in 2021 of living some sort of dream. it felt weird, and it still feels that way. no matter what i do i still feel like this. and it’s honestly weird, i have no clue what im feeling though. ive tried researching for 2 years and can’t find anything, if someone else feels like this then please tell me if you have any ideas of what it could be.
maybe i’m just weird, maybe i have to move on. but i’ve tried. i’ve tried explaining it to my friends, and they can’t help. i appreciate them but they are also completely clueless like me (in this topic, i can’t blame them it’s so confusing.)

This popped up on my fyp, and I decided to watch it till the end, and I'm glad I did. It's so sad that the Roblox editing community is dying... These people have inspired me to create my own edits based on popular trends. I owe it to them for the platform that I have as I'm constantly taking inspiration from these creators. I am, however, happy to see that people are moving on to something new, the MM2 editing community. I have also taken some ideas from that community and made my own edits. The editing community will always have a place in my heart, and when it does end, I'm really glad that I and many others have been a part of it. Thank you, creators, for all the wonderful memories! ❤
as a person who used to be in the community, I can confirm it has been dying for a while now (maybe even dead in general). the only reason why I left the roblox editing community is that its just not fun anymore and that its getting complicated, I use capcut to edit and it used to be so much fun editting, heck I can spend all day doing it. but now with some of the new features being added, idk where to start. I also lost the motivation AND forgot how to make edits that look good let alone blow up, my friends still do edits but as usual, theyve flopped. ive moved onto the art community but I sure will miss the editing community

TTD3 has been dying bc it won’t load different outfits for your Roblox catalog you’ll have to make your own.

I used to be a really small Roblox editor myself, but I quit. I always got my inspiration from people like futureneverlands and b3eleyy (idk how to spell ok-), and also geniev12 and qaluo. Heck, I even made an edit with qaluo! It’s so sad to see everyone move on, and personally, I don’t enjoy mm2 content as much. But that’s my opinion, and everyone has their own.
i had a channel a year ago where i used to post roblox edits. i really liked doing edits, and qaluo was my main inspiration. i quit this channel because i found making only roblox edits boring, and if i posted anything other than roblox edits, my videos would either barely get any views or no comments. my old channel basically died. seeing the biggest roblox editors, who were also the reason why most people started editing. i don't see the editing community dying, though. the tiktok editors are doing just fine, and thr typography editors are also growing in popularity. it's the amount of people who quit in 2023 and this year who killed it. i don't blame them honestly, we're all getting older. they are either too busy with school or college, or they just don't like it anymore.

that actually hits very hard, seeing the editing community slowly disappear. honestly, ever since capcut templates were a thing, less trends came and so that means less view rates, less things to edit, and basically just the community dying. I was actually one of the smaller editors that quit. I think its due to the motivation and loss of trends + big editing youtubers / editing community in general that made the community slow down and soon, die.
I used to be a Roblox editor and I can agree with everything you said. I deleted my Roblox editing channel and have moved on to quadrobics content and other hobbies I enjoy. But Bro the way you made this so sad 😭

I always loved Roblox edits, but then I hate Geniev12. I don't remember the exact meaning of the sound she used but she did use a sound that was a Japanese girl screaming to not die or something like that? (I don't remember) people called it the Miku scream. She promised her subscribers she wouldn't use it again and then she used it again. Roblox edits are good when they understand the meaning of the song and they keep their word when promise subscribers something

Tbh, yea I agree. Firstly when I was a new youtuber with over 26 subs that time ttd3 edits were so popular. Now seems like everyone is more interested in mm2, DTI, blade ball etc. That's so sad how many roblox editors switched into a mm2 Content Creator. Especially vani bean. Roblox editors are amazing and absolutely talented. The roblox editing fandom is dying and people already moved on. It’s just so sad most people have even grew up in the fandom. Many people even quit for good. But all good things have to go to an end. I am also really sad about this situation.

i was a victim of the preppy editing community 😭 i posted 5 times a day based off of how bored i was and the channel accumulated over 100 subscribers (not a lot but i was proud and happy) i soon started to see the community die down and i was js tired of not getting many views, i tried to come back many times but it wasn’t the same and i usually ended up giving up after a few weeks or so, im grateful for it because i also learned some great editing skills like velocity colouring transition and everything

hey uh former roblox creator here(old deleted channel because i wasn’t posting and was having trouble with irl stuff) yeah it is there are still roblox editors but they just aren’t getting a surplus of attention i dont think the editing community will ever truly die as it has been around for longer than you think it only just blew up in 2020-2022 because of some viral edits the main reason its dying because 1. editing can be hard especially to make good edits a lot of people especially kids wont have the attention span or a lot of time to learn how to make edits let alone ones like how the big editors make 2. honestly even if the edits are good they can get boring by doing the same thing over and over clip-edit for many hours ranging from 3-5 if your very skilled-post- repeat it can get tiring conclusion it will never truly die but it will have a downfall and possibly will never be as popular as it was but who knows someone could revive it there are still roblox editors out there tho the usually are around the 10k like mark which is a lot for some not so much for others have a nice day😊
this brought memories from the piggy era. It was a good community, but minitoon left the game and people were slowly ignoring piggy. Kitty channel afnan was the most popular in this community, but had to stop bcz no one cared about it.
