This, this piece man... This is one of my all time favorties covers, and of yours specificaly only second to Choro Trigger Battle Theme, and maybe the Death Note Medley. But god damn... This is seriously amazing. You just took covering into a whole different level. It's a song on its own, with elements of Lavender Town theme, and it doesn't sound like a cover at all. It is truly astonishing your'e not as well known as you should be, you just dropped the biggest bomb in VG Metal Covers since... since ever! Maybe I'm a bit over exaggerating, but I fucking love you man. This is what every cover needs to sound like. I realize now you called it a remix, and not a cover. Doesn't really change my feeling towards it, and to be frank this is still one of the most unique things (remixes? covers?) in VGM.

Its is still my favorite cover of my favorite soundtrack in Pokémon red/blue.

I honestly think this song is both overplayed and overrated, something I can't say about most of the "standards." But this arrangement works because the creepiness makes way for pure heaviness, while still retaining the necessary mournful feel. The catchier-than-the-flu riffs and addition of a lesser-known song most certainly help elevate this already great cover above and beyond. It's just amazing.
