Happy 2024. those icy blondes look really great on you. That comment about the 90's from the young Gal made me think of the time a young gal said I looked vintage. I said yes like fine wine and laughed. styles circle back with a little different twist. All those angles bobs are from the 60's just styled a little different. I was a hairdresser for 40 years . someone would come in with a wig picture and want their hair done like that and I always said just buy the wig . I wish I would have started my wig journey earlier but we weren't allowed to wear wigs in the salon. wig shops went bye bye but now we have online. wigs have definetly come back in a big way and not our grandmas wigs either.

Oh my, they all are new to me this year. I started my wig journey in March. I do have chloe from BT and HM Claire and love them both. I have many others like Movie Star and she is soooooo fun to fix up. I also have BT Morning Brew which a straight version of Morning Storm. One of my favorites has been BT Miranda Lite. I think for my first year, I have learned a lot and have many many wigs. One of my newest is Mellow in Chocolate Smoke. It is the color that is new to mellow and I am IN LOVE. HAHA. I also have Avalon in chocolate smoke and the new Graydient Storm color. Goodness. I have done a lot for my first year
Thank you, Taz, for sharing your favorites! No way would I have ever guessed that you are 55 years old and have had serious and debilitating health issues. They don’t show in your face or body, or demeanor at all! I splurged in 2023 and objectively, Captivating Canvas was my most loved purchase. I also love RW Easy Does It. Those two were ready to wear right out of the box. There are others that require some type of intervention before I’ll wear them in public, even if it’s just hanging them upside down for a few weeks to lift the fibers. I also wore my favorites from 2022, RW In Charge and RW Ready For Takeoff enough that they are in serious need of intervention with heat.

I look at BT like a high fashion brand; even with improvements to the cap, I feel like discontinuing so many styles and colors ALL at the same time was a big mistake! Newer styles look familiar. I dothink I may try MA Showgirl and Vamp in Sunflower. Among these styles, I ADORE RA'S BLACK TIE CHIC. Yet, I am anxiously awaiting for YOU to review DAY TO DATE by RW. I have wanted Scala in I think its the pearl blonde rooted since it came out. Second has been EW Heaven. But I will continue to dream. And my winter wish is mane Attractions Vamp in Sunflower or Butternut for me trips for my next set of infusions. Ill pretend I have it on to make my brain think its not as cold! LOL So happy youre feeling better.
I had this exact style in the early 90’s. The front pieces were just a bit longer and more angled and I loved it. I somehow missed the release of Scala, so glad I came across this video!

I love “ Relax “ from RW. But I wear Advanced French by RW in Shaded Biscuit and get lots of compliments. I am 76,and hope it’s not a youthful wig that I shouldn’t be wearing. I forget that I have a wig on 95 % of the time. But I am looking for another style as I’m wanting a change. Maybe a little longer than Advanced French. I adore RW’s wigs. They really last a long time. I love all the wigs on you. Can’t pick ! You however did pick a beautiful one. Thanks for all your videos.
Hi Gail! I don't think EW Relax is too young looking, its just a bit of pizazz...lol. You might also look at something like Raquel Welch Go To Style, it has a short back and nape, but a bit of fringe to play with:-) Good luck and Happy New Year! XOXO

I love so many styles, but because my face is very round, and fat, and I’m only five foot zero inches, I can’t wear them. I can only wear shorter bobs that frame my face and provide full side coverage. It took me a while to realize this, and lots of $$$, when I first started wearing wigs. I used to order styles I loved, but then they looked ridiculous on me. Taz can wear any wig on earth, and it would look amazing on her. Happy New Year! 🥳🥰
You always look so fabulous in the wigs you model! Just a heads up on the lovely Lilac Silver color by Noriko. I got Noriko Nour in Lilac Silver, as did another woman I know, and while we both love the style, we are both disappointed in how slight the Lilac is in our wigs. It is barely perceptible. The one you modeled shows the lilac beautifully, as did the photos of Nour; but the Lilac on my Nour only shows very slightly in certain light. Otherwise, it is a very pretty silver. Thank you for this quick review of 2023 wigs!
Hi Tasz. I have already deposited some wigs according to your review. I love a lot of wigs from Bell Tress, Raquel Welch and Ellen Wille. Unfortunately I got thinner hair and so I now use the first wig, which is from Noriko Charlotte in the color Cola-Swirl. Still waiting for the good bit. It is still at customs in Cologne. I come from Germany and have now ordered my first wig from you. I'm really looking forward to my wig journey. I wish you and your husband and family a happy new year.
Thank you for sharing. I like Scala the best. I have wanted to start wearing wigs but feel ashamed. I purchased one, and it was uncomfortable, and I felt uncomfortable. I need something very light as I have frequent migraines. I've lost a lot of hair due to three bouts of pneumonia and menopause. It is hard to feel attractive with thinning hair.

Our taste in wigs are very similar!! I have most of these styles as well. I received my Claire this week and the curls much tighter and look nothing like yours. I ordered it after seeing your review. Did you do anything to relax the curls some? If so can you please share the secret. As is I will never wear it. 😢

Oh my, they all are new to me this year. I started my wig journey in March. I do have chloe from BT and HM Claire and love them both. I have many others like Movie Star and she is soooooo fun to fix up. I also have BT Morning Brew which a straight version of Morning Storm. One of my favorites has been BT Miranda Lite. I think for my first year, I have learned a lot and have many many wigs. One of my newest is Mellow in Chocolate Smoke. It is the color that is new to mellow and I am IN LOVE. HAHA. I also have Avalon in chocolate smoke and the new Graydient Storm color. Goodness. I have done a lot for my first year

I splurged in 2023 and objectively, Captivating Canvas was my most loved purchase. I also love RW Easy Does It. Those two were ready to wear right out of the box. There are others that require some type of intervention before I’ll wear them in public, even if it’s just hanging them upside down for a few weeks to lift the fibers.
I also wore my favorites from 2022, RW In Charge and RW Ready For Takeoff enough that they are in serious need of intervention with heat.
I love that you shared your faves and tips! Happy New Year! I’m not ill, just the hormonal roller coaster that is menopause..lol. I was not expecting such suffering, but I know it’s not going to last forever. Blessings! 💛🎊🎆

I look at BT like a high fashion brand; even with improvements to the cap, I feel like discontinuing so many styles and colors ALL at the same time was a big mistake! Newer styles look familiar. I dothink I may try MA Showgirl and Vamp in Sunflower. Among these styles, I ADORE RA'S BLACK TIE CHIC. Yet, I am anxiously awaiting for YOU to review DAY TO DATE by RW. I have wanted Scala in I think its the pearl blonde rooted since it came out. Second has been EW Heaven. But I will continue to dream. And my winter wish is mane Attractions Vamp in Sunflower or Butternut for me trips for my next set of infusions. Ill pretend I have it on to make my brain think its not as cold! I had this exact style in the early 90’s. The front pieces were just a bit longer and more angled and I loved it. I somehow missed the release of Scala, so glad I came across this video!

I love “ Relax “ from RW. But I wear Advanced French by RW in Shaded Biscuit and get lots of compliments. I am 76,and hope it’s not a youthful wig that I shouldn’t be wearing. I forget that I have a wig on 95 % of the time. But I am looking for another style as I’m wanting a change. Maybe a little longer than Advanced French. I adore RW’s wigs. They really last a long time. I love all the wigs on you. Can’t pick ! You however did pick a beautiful one. Thanks for all your videos.
Hi Gail! I don't think EW Relax is too young looking, its just a bit of pizazz...lol. You might also look at something like Raquel Welch Go To Style, it has a short back and nape, but a bit of fringe to play with:-) Good luck and Happy New Year! XOXO

I love so many styles, but because my face is very round, and fat, and I’m only five foot zero inches, I can’t wear them. I can only wear shorter bobs that frame my face and provide full side coverage. It took me a while to realize this, and lots of $$$, when I first started wearing wigs. I used to order styles I loved, but then they looked ridiculous on me. Taz can wear any wig on earth, and it would look amazing on her.

You always look so fabulous in the wigs you model! Just a heads up on the lovely Lilac Silver color by Noriko. I got Noriko Nour in Lilac Silver, as did another woman I know, and while we both love the style, we are both disappointed in how slight the Lilac is in our wigs. It is barely perceptible. The one you modeled shows the lilac beautifully, as did the photos of Nour; but the Lilac on my Nour only shows very slightly in certain light. Otherwise, it is a very pretty silver. Thank you for this quick review of 2023 wigs!

Unfortunately I got thinner hair and so I now use the first wig, which is from Noriko Charlotte in the color Cola-Swirl. Still waiting for the good bit. It is still at customs in Cologne. I've lost a lot of hair due to three bouts of pneumonia and menopause. It is hard to feel attractive with thinning hair.

Our taste in wigs are very similar!! I have most of these styles as well. I received my Claire this week and the curls much tighter and look nothing like yours. I ordered it after seeing your review. Did you do anything to relax the curls some? If so can you please share the secret. As is I will never wear it. 😢
