LOL, try using the RMB to keep your rod tip up (there is a reason a rod bends and you are using none of that shock asbosrbing power) and stop reeling when the fish is stripping line (just makes you lose line twice as fast)...perhaps you'll have an easier time.
thx for your hints, but the line only broke after the fish took every inch available. At this point the line will break every time - if the fish is stronger than the line. Or am I wrong? But your hints may help me in other scenarios.
