It's actually 3.5ft deep the entire bottom 1.5ft is a giant cave for them to hide in I did Lose fish in the beginning because they out grow the original cave but haven't lost any since I put in the big cave 2 years ago 👍thank you for your comment it is very much appreciated 👍

Too small pond for koi

I have access to bigger ponds if they out grow it. The ponds actually bigger than it looks its 15x18 x 3.5ft
