Tip and trick (T&T): one of my favorite things is to uncover my section, gather all of the colors for that section then grab a random color from the bowl and go with that, working through the colors pretty much randomly.
Another T&T for DP with pets, keep a safety pin or needle nearby to get under the hair, put an index finger on top and lift the lot, getting the hair off.
When labeling a round bottle, or hand writing labels, I always put 3 dots in a row under the bottom of the number or symbol so I always know which way is up.
I also orient the bottle the same direction as the canvas so I can be sure and find the right symbols. Currently doing Treasures of the Great Outdoors by DAC and artist Chuck Pinson, and they have FOUR arrows, and THREE carats, all different colors and in different directions. 😳

I agree with you about the checkerboard. It takes a while, but if you have a bunch of 310, it will make it not so boring because 310 in a large section will make you cry
Hello Rebecca. I have been waiting forever for Dreamer Designs to get the White Christmas DP back in stock. I signed up for email notification too, but never got notified. My first information was from you during this WIP & Waffle. I hurried to their website only to find we have to sign up with email again. This is NOT the first time Dreamer Designs has done this to me. So, even as gorgeous as this picture is. I no longer want the frustration of dealing with Dreamer Designs. However, I will definitely continue with visiting your YT site. Thank you for all you do and helping me try to keep my sanity. 🙂
There are so many flavours. Jam has berries in it and Jelly is made from just juice. Strawberry Jam, Apricot, raspberry, well any berry makes great Jam.

I just got my White Christmas today !!!!! It only took 3 days to get this will be my second canvas from Dreamer Designs. Hope I can get it done by Chrir. I finished Aegean Sea in 4 weeks. Its big as well and it is beautiful.
So, just to let you know what a small world this can be...I actually know the Albanese family and was quite good friends with one of the sons. I grew up in a Chicago suburb in the same town as them and they started with a pretty small store in Indiana, just a bit over the Illinois border. I now live in Southern California, about 2500 miles from there. I also enjoy their candy very much. It was very nice of you to mention you'd notice I wasn't about. I've been watching your vids for a very long time and love them. I severed my achilles heel back in June and it has been a very long and painful recovery fraught with complications. Being diabetic hasn't helped my cause at all. I fell into a pretty deep depression, but there is light at the end of that tunnel and it took getting back to diamond painting and listening to you to help me get through it, so thank you very much for all you do, you never know when it really helps someone!!!

You are killing me here! I have plenty release papers but they are the boring double sided ones from your shop. Now you have convinced me I need the pretty ones. They are just so much fun. The only obstacle is settling on a design to buy first (I want them all).

Sorry Rebecca I'm back, had to watch this in two parts as I was doing a roast dinner and it needed my attention. This White Christmas is definitely moving along. I hope next years advent is more Christmasy so then I can put it up every Christmas.
When I came to look at my rounds yesterday I realised I will need another box to get them sorted and need a trip to the Range for supplies. I'm told it's full of Christmas, so my resistance will be tried. 😺😺 🎄🎄
Hi Rebecca! Love the Paiting! You're getting so much done and it's beautiful!!! I've tried multiplacing, but I can't get them straight. I spend more time fixing it then if I just single place. I'll keep trying off and on, but for now I prefer to single place. Tuesday is my dogs bladder cancer surgery. I'm a very nervous mama. But our vet is amazing so I know he will be in great hands!
💖💖 Watching from bed today. Hubby brought home the flue from work. 2 days and he is already getting better and plans to go to work tomorrow.
While I´m down with fever, a running nose, coughing and a general bad mood. I really don't have very much of a immunsystem with all my medication.
Just for your information;
Jelly is clear that sets up, made with fruit juice and sugar
Jam has pureed fruit and sugar
Preserves have larger chunks of fruit and less sugar
Marmalade is more citrus, includes some peel and more sugar
All can be used with peanut butter in a sandwich and is very yummy.
PB&J is awesome. I only make mine on fluffy white bread with crunchy peanut butter and strawberry jam. The difference between jam and jelly is if it has bits of fruit in it or not.
Oooh love the sweet recommendation. I am a stickler for sweets especially if I’m working on a diamond painting or working from home. I can’t concentrate otherwise. ‘Goes to google the Candy name’ 😂❤
Hi Rebecca! BTW, I just love the lilt in your accent and that you don’t speak too quickly. This way, we folks across the pond can understand you more easily. LOL! I just received your Christmas Advent Calendar box yesterday and I am so excited to watch your videos and open a package each day with you starting December 1st. Thank you for having a generous supply of these kits this year so we who hadn’t heard about them until just a couple of weeks ago, were still able to order one. I heard that you ran out pretty early last year.
Well past the halfway point! You are making excellent progress for a November finish of White Christmas. I haven’t heard a complaint about all the light colors in this painting so you should be fine. I would be feeling burnout on it by now and have to take a little break to work on something more bright and colorful. I can’t wait to see this finished!.
So glad you and the family are enjoying the treats! As for the pens, I had two thoughts when sending them to you. You normally use purple and black ink when writing on labels. You often say that the ink often takes a bit to dry so I figured you could use these and MAYBE the ink would dry quickly. Second, I thought that Megan might be able to use some of the red pens while correcting papers. Do teachers still use red pens to mark up papers? Or is that another thing that has been faded out with the use of computers? Plus, I remember you saying that Megan likes the color green. In any case, I hope you like them enough to become as possessive of the pens as I am. 😂 Thanks for the extra long waffle…it was wonderful as usual. ❤️

I use to use my ceramic knife on double sided tape when I had bubbles but now I fine I cut the tape and pull it up completely and I have a small roll of the same tape and I just put down new it can be a interesting process, but the new tape once down lays beautiful . I have had to seal a lot of my painting because of that, so now I don't if I don't want to.

There is a difference between jelly and jam. Jelly doesn't have fruit pieces in it where as jam does. White Crhistmas didn't actually restock when people got email notifications, it was suppose to restock on Sunday but they had technical difficulties, it is suppose to now restock on Tuesday Nov 7th at 9am PST. 😊

Hi Rebecca. I love watching your videos thank you for all your hard work. A couple of questions. What made you use a multi placer when you were so against them? And also is there any regrets giving up your regular job to do what you do full time?
That store Albanese are good I live not about 3 hours way from we go get there candy from the store we put in dirt pudding over the worms after went other bands get hard over time they say soft we put in the dirty pudding they are good one

In reference to the PB&J, grape jelly is the children's version .. grownups can use whatever jelly, jam, or preserves they like. (I like apple jelly, or strawberry-rhubarb jam personally). Feel free to use whatever your personal favourite is. :)
And yes, DAC already trapped me with a gorgeous painting (Winter Wonderland) but I know it'll never get done for this xmas lol. I'm STILL working on their mystery painting so, maybe next year it'll go up.

I'm a single placer as well tired multi placing and I just can't keep them even. Personally I don't like squares I prefer rounds do to the fact that even single placing I can't keep them straight.
