Kokona's passive is unique in that she can instantly rescue someone while others have to charge up for a bit before they can rescue someone. While Kokona needs only 5 seconds, other characters need almost double the time to rescue someone. This is quite good since it can let a downed person rejoin the fight more quickly, without the risk of leaving yourself open to ambushes while rescuing someone.
Thankyousomuch for this! I've been starting to use Snipers recently as I've always used supports thinking I really can't break the roof and play snipers as " it's too hard " but lately I started playing snipers more and realized that I can actually do it, I just need some time for experience too and with this video I definitely got some things cleared up such as the awakening, basic questions on where to position and more, looking forward for more of your contents! subbed!
A lot of high elo snipers run chargespeed over rechambering speed. I suspect it's just turns out that shooting slightly faster isn't as important verses the impact you get from the moments you manage to hit a damage breakpoint. Cuz anything between instant quick scopes and full charge shots (which is going to be a significant amount of shots in match) will get a direct benefit and is a pretty big one since the breakpoints give significant damage. Meanwhile the rechamber upgrade is only giving you value if you did an action that would've been otherwise unactionable had you not got the upgrade. I find there be not a lot of situations where you'll actually be taking advantage of those "actionable frames" and it's not entirely consistent unless you are literally rapid firing. The firerate increase is pretty minimal and lets be real your opponents arent just going to let you rapid fire for free (not that you can do it for long as well due to ammo). So if you're not "squeezing" anything out of the rechambering difference in timing than youre losing potential value on any shot between quickscope and fully charged which is a direct tangible damage nerf to a lot of your shots. Chargespeed also just feels hella good and smooth (prioritize ads speed first tho obviously) There's also a small trick / detail you see some of the higher elo snipers do that I haven't seen any sniper guides cover yet. So maybe I'll make my own sniper guide! EDIT: Also for the green stringified upgrade i would heavily recommend you run the movement one. Idk if they updated it but last time i tested it a few months back the 25% reduction in paper mode only applies to the RED portion meaning it only starts generating you value once you lose all your shield and they are shooting you... So the upgrade is completely passive and doesnt generate you an advantage in neutral at all. In fact you need to be in a "disadvantaged" position with the enemies actively damaging your HP directly before that upgrade is "helping you". Meanwhile the 15% movement speed is a straight up buff to paper mode and can be used both offensively, defensively and in neutral to generate value and isn't reliant on the enemy already killing you dead.
I was also debating to myself if chambering speed is better than charging speed since majority of players suggest and use it. Personally i found that chambering speed had more success solely for the fact that people do rushes if they have ults so yeah its nice to hear other people think this way too
I get everything just one question. Wouldnt it be better 2 go for incresed charging speed 4 the extra ads speed Edit: and one more kanami tip. Go for a1 for the extra aoe dmg u can 1 tap ppl 2 the body full charge Edit 2: not to be that guy but when u Were talkin about kokona a3 u saied putting it on Ming was op. They on different sites tho. I just wanna point that out and that the Rest of the Video was really good Edit 3: the kanami 1tap is only for Light shield tho so make sure 2 look at ur oponents buy
Chambering speed is really good on Kokona, however with Kanami if you take charging speed you are actually much more easily able to get kills cause that extra charge at the first chance makes you able to 1 shot headshot heavy armor quickacoping while normally you actually cannot
the buys on this guide are a bit weird to me, the charge speed secretly gives more ads speed i think (and the recommended are the best for the most part) just always make sure you buy to get your upgrades asap is the important part. Then the movement speed is actually so much better than the dmg reduction imo, just being able to rotate faster by quite a bit especially if you are flanking, also makes it way easier to keep up with the team on offense when you are usually in the back. but this is coming from a guy who doesn't care about getting smoked off on most areas, uses tattletale on defense and totally also strays from the recommended buys fairly often. It is a good guide and i love hearing what other sniper players think and their game plan.
Kanami A1 also 1 shot body shot people with 190 hp at fully charge. Charging speed might be good if you utilize jump shooting alot. String Speed can be good for faster repositioning and rotate/flank. It's actually more like 50-50 if you want damage reduction vs string spd. Damage reduction if you're constantly catching yourself in duels and fight while string speed is better outside of fighting.
I'd say generally sniper wants Charge Spd cuz the higher dmg ramps up quickly And as a Kanami main that hardly plays Kokona, I swear that Kokona's rechamber feels faster than Kanami's
hey one thing to notice for u, when u take increased chargind speed your ADS speed grows a little aswell u can check in game, and in stats when buying it
I disagree with the light armor on kokona. one of her upgrades gives armor regen with her drone so I feel that heavy armor is better. Heavy armor will ensure that kanami cannot 1 shot you from the body at any distance. (I haven't watched the whole video but it looks well made. I appreciate the content on this game!) I really like the tip at 8:05, i always knew that i had to move when getting pushed, but I never thought about having a position in mind beforehand. 13:44 In demolition games ming will never be on the same team as kokona as they are in different factions.
Yup it's basically to make sure you dont have to think about whether to save your drone or drone yourself if you happen to take just a tiny bit of poke damage. Though if you want to be a selfish kokona and play aggressive cuz your team sucks then I could see heavy armor being the play and have done so before myself on my sniper alt

There is a pain spot when someone uses Kanami and does not randomly shoot wall to reveal enemy Dealing 11 damage by a splash and a red overlay is very useful
I don’t understand how people like you do this... It looks like aim cheats. I just can’t grasp how someone can aim so fast, flick the mouse to the side, and always hit a very, very tiny head from a huge distance-especially since your opponents are moving, but people like you still land those shots. How do you even do that? I will never understand or be able to do the same. No matter how hard I try, I can’t just “flick the mouse to someone’s head” and hit 10 out of 10 shots. I can’t even land 1 out of 10 sometimes. It takes me so much time to aim at an opponent and shoot, but even when I do aim, the chance of hitting is incredibly low. As for close-range fights, I don’t even want to talk about that-my chances of hitting anyone there are practically zero. How do you even learn to play as a sniper in these kinds of games when every loss just makes me want to play the game less and less? I’m so terrible at playing as a sniper that, from an enormous distance, a player using someone like Flavia or Fuchsia manages to kill me, but I can’t do the same. And honestly, I don’t understand how these people manage to kill me from such a long range with an automatic weapon in just a few headshots. HOW DO THEY DO THAT...?
