Nature is so versatile, so many options. The reworked Lady Anacondra is so OP and you still have a bunch of options, a whole package of extra mercs for some maps like Thrall, Athissa, Vash, Elise, Brightwing and even Morgl...that's what i wanna see in every comp. Very sweet nature atm, i hope to see more dragons for a dragon nature comp at some point.
So today I have tried this combo to complete a daily quest (HC Garrosh with Varian and Patches, so I took Anacondra, Guff, Yulon and Brukan) and had a little crazy run due to my incapability. Yulon died on the first encounter, followed by almost everyone, so I decided to try heroic encounter with Varian, Anacondra and Patches thinking I had had nothing to lose. I had mysteriously won that and could ress one of my mercs. Brukan was revived, so I decided to continue and destroyed another few heroic encounters and Garrosh too with treasure combo Nature ritual 5 (+30 ndmg) and Tempest's Fury 4 supported by Varians's 6 point damage reduction. Enemies didn't stand a chance by the end.
Thanks for the guide. With the merc changes, will you be revisiting some of your older guides? Am struggling to find a guide for heroic Drek Thar - that wouldn’t involve Diablo or Jaina which I don’t have. Suspect it will be a difficult bounty for me. In any case, thanks for your guides, they have been immensely helpful.
Yeah, I'll definitely try to see if there is anything for Heroic Drek'Thar, for example. It is the most difficult bounty in the game and Fire is currently the only solution.
@@OldGuardian that’s great thanks. I have most fire mercs, just Diablo missing. Found online that people managed to do it with nature so maybe that’s an option.
Can you cover the Visitor: Murk Eye bounty vs. H-Garrosh. it requires Murk-Eye, Garona, and Scabbs be on the team. it hard to even climb to Garrosh without losing mercs and seems very treasure dependent.
Completed all tasks for all my unlocked mercs today so I decided to open a few packs to maybe get some that I was missing. Damn opening packs is frustrating when it's just portraits at most (especially considering I don't use golden portraits to help with my potato FPS). I think I'll only open more of the 200 I still have stockpiled once a big set of new mercs is released. Anywho, I got Maestra, Cho and Vashj in those 20 packs. Any guesses when the next big wave of mercs is to be revealed? Obviously not gonna be too soon after C'thun :/ Thought I might as well try the budget nature comp while gearing and levelling Maestra. Only have +3 hp equipment on Yu'lon but had the rest sorted - don't think Guff's equipment matters much as you use Ironbark roughly as often as his attack. Climb went well, sometimes subbed Yu'lon for Cookie and Brukan when facing 3 protectors. Trash treasures all around, best I was able to pick up was the serpent bite thing for Anacondra and a shoddy ring of protection for Brukan. Killed the Garrosh's red add on turn 1 by queuing the Nightmare viper's attack, but still lost Yu'lon by the end of turn 2 and Guff shortly after. Anacondra and my low Maestra were able to take down the rest of the adds but soon also succumbed to Garrosh's corruption. COOKIE BUFF IS AMAZING! With the healing and bleed increased to 10, I was able to alternate between the bleed and fishies to sustain all the way through Garrosh's ridiculous 500+ health. Bleed ticks went to 60 by the time I killed him. New Cookie is a trooper! I think I might even take him to Garrosh if they remove appetizers completely for some reason... Thanks for your guides, had a ton of fun blasting through all the heroics these past weeks with your videos, as I had somehow left the story tasks at BRM 1. Cleaned all the bounties out in order while unlocking all the equipment and finishing the story tasks. Cheers!
Love your videos and hard work especially your exhaustive content on mercenaries. Small sidenote is your pronunciation of the word buffet, it's pronounced buff-fay not buff-fet :)
I have and I do not like Cho in this. Cho can do very little if you want to use him to give buffs and then most of your characters do not even get anything from him. Felt useless.
I love comps that have all three types. I like using anaconda with guff. Can I assume malf, anacobdra and guff is still viable? It is great to have budget comp options. I remember the struggle at the beginning when you just have rare mercs.
I have never seen Malfurion/Anacondra/Guff used to be honest, it used to be Malfurion/Bru'kan/Guff or the budget style Anacondra/Bru'kan/Guff. But with these changes, I think there might be some sweet things to be done with Malfurion and Anacondra in the same team.

i started playing mercenaries a month ago and its the first time i see a comp i can actually use. Love your vids
Pretty much the same - especially since this does not need Pearl of Yu'lon

I tried this comp out, and dang it's beastly.

I'm glad you've found the guides useful!
The next big Mercs drop should be patch 24.4 in roughly two months.

It depends on the meaning of the word. For this meaning, pronouncing the t is correct.
Unless it's all you can eat wings 🤷
I am curious have you played this before with Lord Master Cho? Do you think he would work in this comp?
I have and I do not like Cho in this. Cho can do very little if you want to use him to give buffs and then most of your characters do not even get anything from him. Felt useless.
When did they change Guff's combo attack animation? I mean it's faster which is good, but it doesn't seem very Guffian.
The most recent patch, 24.0, this week.

With Nemsy now.. this is insanely easy.
Somehow managed to fail nature really bad, but then fire came to the rescue and won 1st try without any crazy item.
Awesome how this amazing new comp dies a lot during the climb
Blizzard. They buff rare mercs, so that the legendaries looks like commons next to them.🤦♂
This comp doesn't work
