Saying goodbye to Every Animal Zoo?? (Part 26)

- The time has come to say goodbye. The end of the epic adventure to add every Planet Zoo animal into a single franchise zoo. It took 7 months, 100s of hours in game, but we did it! Today we add the final six animals into the zoo, including Titan Beetle, West African Lion, Western Chimpanzee, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Lowland Gorilla and finally, the Yellow Anaconda. I set the challenge to have a zoo that had every animal in it, and today we achieve that milestone.

About me: I'm Plastic Swans and I do a lot of wacky stuff with Planet Zoo, like racing the animals and time trials. I like to call this kind of thing wholesome chaos and that's what I try to do most of all on the channel. I also make one-off habitats and zoos, and I also make the starter habitats for Planet Zoo, a collection of ready-made franchise/challenge compatible habitats for every animal in the game.

Frontier said the next update in planet zoo is the kaiju update where all the animals are kaiju sized so all the animals will escape and eat the guests

I can’t believe we’ve gone so far with this zoo, while it’s sad to see it go. It’s so nice to see how much it became!
Indeed! Couple of things surprised me. 1) that my PC could even handle getting up to adding all animals, I figured it'd refuse to load after 120 or so and 2) how little room the whole set-up took! I was worried I wouldn't have enough space for everything, but in the end the whole zoo takes up about 1/3 of the available space

Its so sad to see this series go. I didnt quite watch since it started since i only started watching your channel a few episodes in. Watched those in one go and have been so exited for more episodes. Definitely one of my favourite planet zoo series and hope to see it return in the future 🙏.

You also can't have a zoo without meerkats, ring-tailed lemurs or red pandas but for some stupid reason, meerkats weren't in Planet Zoo until the Africa pack.

Thank you! I've been sitting on that redesign since Episode 2 LOL. It was finding the time to squeeze it in was the problem! Luckily this last episode there was only 3 habitat builds, which left just enough time to work on the African habitat re-design. Wouldn't have felt right finishing the series without changing it! What's next? I have plans for some epic race events, and some tutorials to see me through to the end of 2023. I've been neglecting my core audience that enjoys the race events, so time to show them a little love too!

I have watched a lot of Planet Zoo content recently after finally buying a PS5 just to play the game.
There so much content that’s overwhelming with complexity, but yours have given me some great ideas and tips.
That Polar Bear one you did is way out my league though..along with a few others, but know that’s 4 years of practice gets you! Incredible!

I can't believe you pulled it off! I really thought the zoo would crash before you reached the end. You did a really good job keeping the zoo looking great while being minimal with the piece count! Looking forward to the tour! As I doubt my pc will run the zoo for me to tour myself xD. Tho if you haven't already thought of it, will be worth touring on sandbox mode so that you can close the park and hopefully make it less laggy (as well as avoid going bankrupt while touring) :P This was such a great series! Deffo feel inspired to try and see how far I can get in an every animal zoo at some point, maybe something ugly themed like a storage warehouse or something similar to your Panda Factory episode muahaha.
Thank you, and if you can believe it, I've had zero crashes with this zoo until literally today! As you mention, doing a full tour in Franchise Mode is simply impossible because of the volume of processes going on. So, I saved the final version as a sandbox zoo today and was literally just checking everything was set for a tour...and it crashed! 😂 Hoping that was a one-off or pulling together a tour video is gonna be painful.
Oh no I jinxed it! Lmao well hopefully you're right with it possibly being a one off. A tour video would be great, but if its going to keeps crashing, don't stress yourself over it! It's still been a great series :)

I loved this series this is so sad
It's been an enjoyable series. What system do you run this on as my PC struggles terribly after about 20 to 25 habitats or so.
Interesting, I did notice a significant drop in performance after about 30 habitats, and struggled through with the lag up to the end from that point! My system is: AMD Ryzen 7, GTX 1060 (graphics card) and 32GB RAM. Honestly by the end I had so many 'rules' for recording to keep the lag down. Something I noticed near the end, I used to run a dual monitor set-up, but by chance had that drop to 1 monitor for a week, and the performance in game went right up, so ended up keeping my set-up to just 1 monitor!
2 months ago *I think* pawsbuilds eco conservation zoo series ended 2 months later the every animal zoo ends

Yep. In order to share this on the Workshop, zoos can't be franchise mode, so I've saved the final version as sandbox and should hopefully be on the workshop soon.

I hope this will come back with more DLC animals, which are coming Autumn 2023 and Winter 2023, for the Every Animal Zoo, I think.
Rest assured, the remaining DLC pack animals will certainly be added to the zoo....unless it finally gives up fighting the lag that is!
I miss this series. Please update this zoo with the new packs if possible. They've included swans in the one that's coming. 🦢
