  • This is a trip that we did from Hull Marina to Beverley Beck on the M.V. Syntan in August 2018. Due to Covid restrictions we haven't been able to organise any events or boat trips during 2020 on either Sun or Syntan, so I've cobbled together photos I took on that trip to create a virtual river cruise experience of part of the journey. They're not highly detailed, as I wasn't expecting to be using them in this way. I hope you enjoy it and if you can leave comments or let me know if there's any errors, it'll be much appreciated. If you do like it give it a 'thumbs up', let me know and we'll see what else we can do with our photo archive. It should also help any members now having withdrawal symptoms by not being on the River at all this year. Also subscribe to the channel and access links to the other resources I've added if you're stuck inside during this second lockdown in November. I've edited this second version to correct any typos or change anything I wasn't happy with the first time. Never a good thing to upload a video late at night and after a few beers...😊👍

Certainly my mission to go on a voyage either way in 2024!

As someone who fears crossing the river bridges, I would actually love to be the one on the river,it might just change my perception of it.

Certainly a different perspective. The wheelhouses on Syntan and Sun fold down so we can get under some bridges when the water is low rather than lifting them and sometimes there are only inches to spare so we have to duck down. Might make normal bridge crossing seem easy.
