Brings back memories. I was at Yasur in 1989. The Island of Tanna was like stepping back in time. Amazing peering into the crater and seeing red hot lava bombs being shot up from the bottom of the crater to higher than we were standing on the crater rim. I didn't realize the danger. This video suggests I was a little lucky.
@C. Fecteau-AU-MJ13 Looks like I learnt something new today I thought our continent had been geologically state for the past few hundred thousand years, looks like I need to do some research and update my knowledge on the matter. Thanks hello from Lightning Ridge NSW
I have done the Yasur volcano trip three times now scary but so facinating too old now to climb up there again plus well covid stops us from travelling ATM
A major eruption from Vanuatu will cause a wave to travel down both coasts of the North Island of New Zealand. South Auckland, home to 500,000 people, is only a few metres above sea level, and estuaries and streams criss-cross all of South Auckland which is linked by harbours to both the Tasman Sea and the Pacific ocean ..The death toll will be double anything seen previously
No mention of the activity between adalaide and Melbourne?. Over 400 active below the creation/old plate boundary. Australian aborigines talk about 300 foot waves hitting the whole east coast of Australia.
no sharks here lol. waters too warm.. in 50 years there has only been 1 shark attack and it was in a remote northern island. No poisonous snakes or spiders here either.
As we head into the grand solar minimum as the magnetosphere continues it's decent the levels of cosmic rays , which are currently at the highest in recorded history, will continue to rise and more and more volcanoes will begin to wake up.
@@Antinousb4586 it is low solar activity from the solar minimum (the lowest solar activity is now starting, with sun cycle 25) the magnetic north pole is also wandering further each year now too.
@@Antinousb4586 lol well I was referring to the science behind it but if you actually want to know which I assume you dont, your comments seem smirky, refer to the teachings of Chuck Missler, he breaks down the bible well.
Valentina Zharkhova has predicted this in her astrophysics solar studies. Not hard to understand. Simple. The activity will continue to rise according to her data.
We’ve been there, right on the edge, wearing crocs and nylon jackets. It was the most exciting thing we’ve ever experienced.
Blessings iyah greetings from Vanuatu 😃😁👍🇻🇺🇻🇺🇻🇺

4:49 / 4:50 😰😂😂 had me laughing. gotta be more careful.
Some of natures most awesome power hello from Australia luckily off grid with the great dividing range between me and the coast

We visited Tanna in 2004 and went to Yasur - it was as active back then as it is on this video - hasn't gotten any worse ..
This was 2010, so not long after you visited. The activity is actually picking up further now as we enter solar cycle 25

He seriously asked a volcanologist if he was an alarmist!?!?
And he was the scared one at the rim
Mother nature is pissed and she will have her revenge..
Hey it's 2021 it's not mother nature anymore it's just nature lol
@@pappasmirk. haha..true buddy! 🤙
This is tops. 💐🥂
So it’s actually active atm just like every other volcano.
Brave people
Very interesting

My favourite volcano is Hunga Tonga Hunga Ha’apai 🌋💜🌋
I saw that tsunami 30 years ago. Yes, it will happen
Australia has been hit by tsunamis in the past.
But here we call them "swimming lessons".

Sounds like “WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU”
Lol 😆
So everyone knows this was a few years ago
Cause like u can't come to Vanuatu atm
True, I really want to visit it again. Visited Port Vila in 2012. Can’t believe it is almost 9 years
Mount Yasur still spewing away! was there last month.
Really? No idea? Every volcano in the world is going off
I thought it would be more dangerous for Vanuatu but that's just me.
our wonderful mother.

You must feel for these people living on top of a ticking time bomb, yet they accept it as part of their heritage...
The world's only one major eruption away from forgetting about global warming.
Making mountains out of molehills again. 1000km away.
Mother Nature rules, and what she does and when she does it is unstoppable. She rules whether we like it or not.
There's no mystery when you study the sun.
More of a risk to NZ as opposed to Australia. Check out a map!
Yes i'm super Angry on all the humans on this wordt !!!!.
Let’s all hit the water and call the sharkies in (for a nibble) !

They have more guts than gainers 😜
Yeah 500 years ago climate was disturbed for 2 years wtf

Yes. Don't understand why they are finding this so hard to recognise. This was 2010, but following the usgs data the activity is increasing
They doing Michael Jackson
has the gas levels rose ? buy how much

2004 was Sumatra
Can't explain it? ... Then read The Holy Bible. It's not a mystery. God's Word explains it all very clearly.
So wat is it
