We need to look 3 years down the line projecting draft picks. I would argue Ron Holland if we talking upside.
Ron Holland really should be the pick at one point he was considered being the #1 player pick. Cody Williams' brother is a big plus giving his little brother the blueprint, giving Cody a leg up.
Trade with Bulls for there pick and Patrick Williams. Grap BPA with the pick

Drafting a high upside risk is fine, as long as the team treats him like a rookie. Use the G-League, let him sit, let him watch, if he isn't ready he doesn't play. If he is ready, then he plays. Simple equation. It worked in the NBA for decades, its just our patience these days no longer exists. Use FA to get your win now players. You can do both, you just have to do it right.

“Win now” role players are best acquired via trades and free agency. When you draft early in the first you are looking for potential all star talent not role players.
True. You can find a dalton type player easily (a shooter with no defense) a Cody Williams is a actual top 5 pick that’s fits and has upside

I agree with you about Kneych. Hoping a 23 year old who struggles defending teenagers suddenly becomes a defender isn't great. But this draft is bad enough for him to be discussed.

Knect is very athletic, he jumps out the gym and can attack the basket. His lateral movement is poor that’s why he can’t stay in front of people. Knect is going to posterize people.

I’m on the boat advocating for trading the pick for a proven young vet like BI or Bridges. We can’t keep going through the process of drafting a young guy hoping they pan out. We gotta give the fans something to look forward to as soon as this upcoming season

Just trade the pick we need immediate help not another rookie to add to the plethora of young guys we already have. At some point in time winning and building around Cade has to be the two biggest priorities.
The Pistons are probably trading one or two of the "Core Four". That's going to free up some minutes for a rookie.

They need to take a long look at AJ Johnson. Jalen Green’s bff and he looks and plays just like Jalen green. Huge upside and pistons fan that wanted Jalen green finally get him. haha plus him dishing the ball to Cade would be elite. He made bronny look good in the combine scrimmage.
