I've had my ninja foodi for 2 months now (Christmas present) and I've made 3 recipes from you so far. (Beef stew, ziti cheese...with added chorizo, and now this...They've all turned out perfect and delicious. So now you're the only person I Go to for my Ninja recipes. Thanks lots and lots from Nottingham UK. X
Thank you ever so much for yet another fabulous recipe. I am a HUGE fan of yours, and have a folder filled with your delicious recipes. I have the old Ninja, and it is still like new, but am planning to upgrade sometime this year. I am 76 and really appreciate the easy recipes you present. No more hours of slaving over a stove and a sink full of pots and pans... The foodie has revolutionized my cooking ever since I got it. I also have converted friends and family. They all watch and use your methods and recipes. THANK YOU a million times for doing all the behind the scene testing and figuring out recipes. Best regards and greetings from Northern AZ.
I agree 100%. I’m 78, rarely eat out and use fresh ingredients whenever possible. I utilize my 2-lidded 5.5 qt iFoodi for as many meals as possible. Easy to use and clean up is a breeze. Love your videos and recipes. Keep up the great work. From Tucson Arizona.
Dear Louise I absolutely love your episodes! It’s so nice watching you every week! I am a vegetarian and I would like to ask you, if possible, to bring in more vegetarian/vegan recipes 😊
Comfort food HEAVEN!!! I found whole, white mushrooms on sale and threw them in after slicing. The dish was wonderful, especially the onion/sour cream gravy!
Just made this tonight. We've brought our Ninja Foodi on an extended RV trip and it and your recipes are our go-to for dinners. This one is a new favorite. Cooking outside in the wind created a bit of a challenge, but the results were great. As you advertise... simple ingredients. I had everything in my RV kitchen.
Hi Louise, your channel is the only one I use for my Ninja Foodie recipes. Just made this one since I love Salisbury Steak and I gotta say...this is far better than my Mom's recipe (Sorry Mom). Thanks for your hard work for us!
We made this dish tonight for dinner. It was amazing! Very, very good, as expected since this recipe came from you. Thanks so much! We love all your recipes, they are exactly as you show and so delicious.
I made this for dinner tonight. I happened to have mushrooms so they went in. This was very tasty and my whole family cleared their plates. Thank you! ❤
I wish I had this recipe last week when I made these. I did my potatoes in the Ninja and the burgers and gravy in my Ninja fry pan. I love this one pot and will be using it. Thank you for another delicious and easy recipe. Keep them coming 😘
That looks so delicious! I have a modern pressure cooker- not a Ninja, which I wish I had bought instead- this was one of those TV Offers. Anyways, I have Never Tried it for fear of it! You have inspired me to get it out and use it! That ninja looks so simple to use. Thanks! I love watching you, as you explain and teach so well. As a return Teacher myself, I really appreciate that. Thanks so much!❤😊
I had a Ninja Foodie for almost 2 years and it sat in the cabinet unused because I was pretty intimidated by it. I'm hooked on using now more than the oven or stove now! Thanks for the detailed guidance. 😀
What perfect timing to see this video. I just tried making Sailsbury steak for the first time a couple of days ago. It wasn't very good. So I am happy to see this and will definitely try making this soon. Thank you for the great recipe!
This sounds like it would have sort of a stroganoff taste to it. I'm looking forward to trying it out. I think I'll remove the patties and use my immersion blender to smooth out the gravy. I'll probably cook additional onions and mushrooms together separately. I'm thinking mashed potatoes topped with the patties, then the smooth gravy topped with the mushrooms and onions. I would also probably choose broccoli or maybe asparagus as the side veggie.
I have never made these even though I remember having them often when I was a child and liking them.Seems like I remember tomatoes , and it's much better and a different dish with gravy made with corn startch.
I’m preparing for major back surgery with a 6 month recovery. I care for my 85 yo Mother who is disabled & cannot cook. This looks so good! I’m wondering at what point could I freeze this for quick meal. (i.e. cook the meat patties & onions & then freeze to finish the recipe a few weeks later. Or fully cook, pc, make gravy, etc and then freeze for weeks later? I’m trying to prep as many meals as possible for the next 6 months. Prefer to make mostly prep now & just heat & eat later since my Mom can wheel herself to freezer & microwave fairly easily in case I’m sleeping.
I skip the onion powder and the chopped onion in the hamburger mix. I will use one pack of Lipton onion soup mix. And a little bit of sage and garlic powder is good for the seasoning mix.
lol the other night my son wanted hamburger (tacos or something like that) nobody else wanted that 😂 so his next favorite thing is Salisbury steak so I was like ok but instead of making the patties I just sauteed onions and then browned the beef along with my seasonings .... then made the onion gravy added the beef back simmered for 5 to 10 mins.... lol my son ate about 90% of it oh I served it over some pressure cooked potatoes (instead of making fries) 🙂 I just called it a deconstructed Salisbury steak dinner when they asked what I was making for dinner 🤣
Bravo on this video! You got a new sub from me! I recently made Steak Kabobs on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected my fellow chef! 😁
Chicken fried steak is breaded and fried in oil, this definitely isn't that. It's salisbury steak, but I added sour cream to the gravy and it's unbelievably delicious. That's why it is lighter in color.
Wanting to use the slow cooker or maybe the pressure cooker to make Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes for my lunches. I have premade patties, and jarred gravy. Do I need to add another thin liquid, or how could I go about this?
I currently have an air fryer and an instant pot. I wonder if I get the ninja foodi, will it replace those 2 items? I get so tired of having too many appliances.
I have never had homemade salisbury steak other than the frozen dinner kind. Not a fan of those, but this looks really good and I would like to try it out. What would be a good side with this dish? I'm thinking over egg noodles, rice or mashed potatoes??? I am also thinking a little bit of cranberry sauce on the side?
How funny, if you just kept that as a loaf and put a can of Campbells mushroom soup over it and slices of Velveeta cheese -- this is my meatloaf recipe (minus sour cream).....no joke!

L😢ve your channel and how you explain everything for dummies like me
Looks fantastic, I will give it a go, looks okay for diabetics as well so I should be able to eat it without exploding or melting!
A very practical recipe. Thank you from a new Ninja owner.
i am from germany and i love your shows!!
So glad I found you on you tube. Your wonderful!! So professional & good at doing videos. Your recipes are wonderful. Thank you.

ok, you got me again. I want to make this one! thanks for the vid and recipe.
Comfort food HEAVEN!!! I found whole, white mushrooms on sale and threw them in after slicing. The dish was wonderful, especially the onion/sour cream gravy!
My partner owns a ninja and your channel inspires us to use it more diversely! Thank you
This is soooo good. 6 our of 5 stars.
This is the best Salisbury steak ever! Try it, you'll be addicted to it. The flavors are amazing. Thanks Louise for this amazing recipe!
Made it in a regular skillet and was delicious.

i like Mushroom Gravy with Salisbury Steak
Hi Louise, your channel is the only one I use for my Ninja Foodie recipes. Just made this one since I love Salisbury Steak and I gotta say...this is far better than my Mom's recipe (Sorry Mom). Thanks for your hard work for us!
I always use potato flour as a thickening agent. I like the “texture” of the gravy much better than when using corn starch as the thickening agent.

That steak looks amazing, and so does the gravy!
My mouth was watering, another great recipe.
Delicious. Made them tonight and loved them. You are a REALLY good cook. Thanks Louise.
had to try it out tonight for supper, it was easy to do and tasted great, even have leftovers for tomorrow, thanks Louise
Looks delicious and loved the idea of how to do the potatoes, so you can have it all.
I wish I had this recipe last week when I made these. I did my potatoes in the Ninja and the burgers and gravy in my Ninja fry pan. I love this one pot and will be using it. Thank you for another delicious and easy recipe. Keep them coming 😘
I can almost smell your cooking 🧑🍳
This recipe is so good! I hope you try it!
I was going to make it this week, usually in the oven most of the day but I'm trying it this way.
I'm going to try that one!
This looks so yummy Louise! I haven’t found anything I don’t like. On my list to do.. huge fan
Thanks so much for leaving out mushrooms!

Try this one Nancy...it is outstanding!
@@scottbrown2536 Thank you. I'll take a look.

Awesome! I’m gluten and dairy free so I’ll just make adjustments 😊
It should be very easy to make it gluten free and dairy free.
Bravo on this video! You got a new sub from me! I recently made Steak Kabobs on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected my fellow chef! 😁
With white sauce, that looks like country-style, chicken-fried steak. Salisbury Steak has a thick, dark brown gravy.
Chicken fried steak is breaded and fried in oil, this definitely isn't that. It's salisbury steak, but I added sour cream to the gravy and it's unbelievably delicious. That's why it is lighter in color.
@@TheSaltedPepper I prefer traditional Salisbury Steak. With sour cream in the sauce, you're heading for Beef Stroganoff.
Wanting to use the slow cooker or maybe the pressure cooker to make Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes for my lunches. I have premade patties, and jarred gravy. Do I need to add another thin liquid, or how could I go about this?

Louise says in her video that the addition of steamed broccoli and mashed potato would be perfect for her. Maybe try her suggestion?
Would onions not breakdown as much if they were sliced "stem to root"?
Is it true they removed the 'sous vide' in the latest ninja foodi model, the one with the temperature probe?
How funny, if you just kept that as a loaf and put a can of Campbells mushroom soup over it and slices of Velveeta cheese -- this is my meatloaf recipe (minus sour cream).....no joke!
Bye y’all.
Seen another version of Salisbury steak and this one! I’m doing this one. Thank you ❤️
Some season steak house fries on the side? Shut the front door!!
I think that is a real good recipe I sure do like the easy part of it as well
