The visual effects on her ULT 2's first phase was removed but they put it back right away. Maybe because many didn't like it, or maybe it was just a bug. But for me, it was actually part of the buff. Imagine, enemies will have no clue that they're about to be hit by a 3-1-2-3 combo.
Imo, I bought skins and I want to see the effects of them so Im glad they brought it back.
So you're saying that you're also willing to remove the ultimate 1st phase because it's a part of a buff to you?

We just needed mana reduction on her 1st skill and lane clearing faster

"Good": Fast burst, which means its harder for enemies to escape ult.
"Bad": Hit or miss tactic, Allows less room for adjustment. Since the speed of moving umbrella for skill 1 does not change and ULT 2 second phase finishes faster, in certain situations where enemy is fast enough to flicker away... There is no time to shift skill 1 and move ULT 2 to an area with enemy before its second phases completes. Either to catch enemy or for slowing down and escaping enemy.
But personally this is no biggie. It allows for more burst, aggressive, hit and run play style. Abit like old kagura 🥰
bif of a shame to throw away playstyles that hv been developed just for making kagura another one trick pony mage😢
Tbh this actually limits the area in which kagura can deal damage... if used properly you can kill to enemies that relatively far away from one another with one combo due to the 1.5s interval... but now before you can even recast your first skill to reposition your umbrella, your ultimate already popped.

@stronk_doggo even so, this buff reduces the margin of failure/mistakes when initiating. The farther the enemy is, the higher chances for them to escape, especially when they see the umbrella during the 1st part of the combo. I think this buff actually solidifies the use of flicker instead of execute as spell. Execute was especially useful when you miss some of your skills, or when enemy does avoid your combo. You can close in the enemy with flicker now, and start the fight and escape as soon as possible.
@@miaki6299 Actually it's the other way around... it rather increases the potential of failing a flicker combo especially when the enemy is far away... 1 second is way too fast... this new ult may be good against dash heroes but not with trying to catch up to enemies a little far away... I mean if the enemy is just within your skill range then what's the point of using flicker...

this is a good buff! idk how many times I got annoyed that enemies escaped my combo because of that extra 0.5 seconds. kind of wish they also buff her wave clear too though.

Huge buff to her damage potential as I can’t tell you how many times my opponent escape becuase of that extra 0.5 secs. I’m not so worried about the combos becuase they’re irrelevant in ranked games, besides tik tok i guess?
the other practical combo, 1-3-2-2-1 seems like it’ll be harder to reach further enemies. i think that’s the major downside. now the chasing combos such as 2-1-3-1-2-3 etc there were very low chance on executing properly to begin with so i’m not too concerned about that
I think 0.5 seconds from the last patch was too much, this patch's adjustment was good since it allowed faster animation but still being able to use the ult to reach long distance, yes it might destroy the combos which required longer time such as reposition using s2 blue but would allowed the refreshed first skill to not be used during basic combo
she just need faster clearing,1-3-2-1 is a good combo to use practically.
It would be better if Kagura was also buffed for damage!

it is a buff.. those who says it isn't have no idea that some heros can escape her full combo..
still.. some heros can escape it by buying Tough Boots.. as it gives 30% less stun duration..

I don't like/disagree about the new adjustment for kagura ultimate however how about the freestyle like flicker??? Furthermore can be the damage will be adjusting more damage and movement speed either cooldown reduce.
