That's Why I Came (48 Hour Film Project)

Last year, we entered the Washington, DC 48 Hour Film Project to make a short film in 48 hours. Over the course of a weekend, we wrote, produced, filmed, and edited "That's Why I Came."

The concept for this film was developed during the 48 Hour Film Project (www.48hourfilm.com) and premiered at Landmark's E Street Cinema in Washington, DC on October 30, 2017. Our film won the award for Original Song and was a finalist for Art Direction/Production Design, Best Scare, and Best Use of Line.
After the screening, we filmed a couple pick-up shots and further edited the short film to better tell the story. The 48 Hour Film Project experience was extremely stressful for a crew of perfectionists, but we learned a great deal of life lessons throughout the process! A gigantic thank you to everyone who helped us on the project and throughout the grueling weekend!
